Skib
I've heard that the cover was rare from a few people, It makes me wonder how it made it's way onto this car... semi rare, not worth a ton extra tho. just look better tho  they make there way over here in different ways. from getting them on ebay or w/e to being shipped over on Japanese replacement motors from Nissan back in the day. its just the Japanese cam cover. stock L28 ones over here looks like this or for L28et's but if you find some like this..... youve scored lol Quote Link to comment
Booger
Sick car man. Keep up the good work. Quote Link to comment

I know it's not worth millions or anything, though it'd be nice if it was! :P Sick car man. Keep up the good work. Thank you! Some random stuff... I didn't have the fusible link covers and I wanted them...so I got them! Before...no covers..and ugly. After! With covers and nice! Much better! Quote Link to comment
Skib
I know it's not worth millions or anything, though it'd be nice if it was! :P people want em. they just look much nicer than the small text "Nissan OHC" ones. a buddy of mine is gonna cut up a turbo one and mod his large "NISSAN" cover like that so it says "NISSAN TURBO" all in big text Quote Link to comment

Indey
Since I'm currently bored at work... Here's more random stuff I've done! The wiper arms had been previously painted black, and I kinda like black wiper arms. So I repainted them! A quick trip to the local junkyard netted me a new wiper switch since mine was apparently broken. Unfortunately it didn't fix my problem. I also found a good set of dash vents that weren't broken, and a mildly worn e-brake boot. Quote Link to comment
Indey
Boredom post! Finally found an ARC Shift Knob that would fit! Quote Link to comment
Indey
My tires on the Z were in dire need of replacement..because when going through a puddle slightly on the gas, I should not be sliding :P That and for some odd reason the fronts were a 215/70/14..and the rears were a 205/75/14 odd  So! Project Kics R40 Neo Chronos These will fit the new wheels that are coming nicely. Quote Link to comment
monster
Nice start!!! not a fan of the neo chronos but have seen them look sweet with the right rim. What wheels are you going to run? Quote Link to comment
Indey
Nice start!!! not a fan of the neo chronos but have seen them look sweet with the right rim. What wheels are you going to run? Well since you asked,,, They're a temporary set of Rota's. Just to hold me over until I get my next wheels, that either being a set of Volk TE37V's or Panasports But as said for now, Rota's to hold me over, These are the fronts... 16x8 +10 Only problem is they only had flat black in stock. Luckily I know a few people that can take care of these things for me.. :) These are the rears. The fronts will be matched to these. They're 17x8.5 +4 Test fitting.. Clearance to the rear strut housing... roughly 3-ish mm Clearance to the front....none at all. Quote Link to comment
monster
Sweet!!! no shame in temp rotas! its beginning to remind me of Awesome! keep in mind the tire sidewall also messes with clearance Quote Link to comment
Indey
Sweet!!! no shame in temp rotas! its beginning to remind me of Awesome! keep in mind the tire sidewall also messes with clearance heh nice with the vader :P At this point I decided that if I was going to put wheels on I wasn't going to be stupid about it and just throw them on...so I started buying a few things to redo some stuff stuff like.... arizona z car steering knuckles/bumpsteer spacers and then I ran into transmission issues! So at this point and for a while even my clutch had felt pretty odd. I adjusted the pedal, and all was good, maybe a week later it was out again, so I readjusted it, 3 days later it was bad again. Every time this would happen it would feel as though the clutch wouldn't come off the flywheel enough and it would make shifting very difficult. Then one day while driving to work after another clutch adjustment I could feel it getting worse as I drove. Heading to the local z specialist I left the car there so he could deal with it. Come to find out my clutch fork had a hole in the center of it, and from that hole it had cracked in 4 different directions. That would explain a lot. At the same time we realized my transmission mount was split in half. Naturally a new clutch fork and trans mount found its way in the car, but I also replaced the rear main seal, and the input / output shaft seals. It was definitely a set back but what can you do right? Quote Link to comment
Indey
So the day after I got the car back from all of it's fun broken clutch fork absurdity I left to go to a friends house, and I noticed that my charge lamp was on! Guess it was time for a new alternator.. which was fine the old one looked quite old...potentially 35 years old  Old and dead.. I headed down to a friends shop and picked up a shiny new alternator. Quote Link to comment
Indey
Finally the wheels got back to me since I had sent them out for a bit of work. The lips weren't PERFECTLY matched but it was fine they're just Rotas for now anyways. So, I took them outside for another test fit with the correct color. Quote Link to comment
Skib
nice  Quote Link to comment
