carrera coilovers with Volvo calipers. My best guess. Was the hot ticket back in the day. Was is some sort of budget race car? Lots of cool stuff. Just dated and dirty. Sucks the rules you play with don't allow some of them

I am taking the car next week to see what they will let me get away with as far as the rules say, if they say no, then the suspension and brakes will be coming off and coming up for sale, or something. It also has dual master cylinders for the brakes and inside the car has a knob up by the steering column to adjust the brake bias. whats a s30 chassis??

HAHA, sorry i forget that its that easy sometimes, I didnt think z struts where that good to use???

They arent in a stock 510 application, as they produce extreme positive camber. But in a race car with longer lower control arms and flaired fenders. They could get a much wider front wheelbase.

Not saying that is what they did on this car, but it is possible to do.

is there any better pics I can take, to get a better Idea and post up?

Maybe for somebody else to identify. I only knew that the caliper was either a S30 chassis or a 79-83 toyota 2wd PU. And your appear to be the S30. A picture of the backside(brake line inlet) of the caliper would help confirm it though.

You might measure the lenghts of your lower control arms and conpare them to a stock 510 arm though. I am guessing that they would need to be about 3/4" longer to accomodate S30 struts in a 510.

YAY! Whats with all the ones that dont show up? Is that just me?

I wanna drive it before you jack all the suspension around for the dirt track.

I have a clean bore honed 2 liter block, ive got a sedan drive shaft, I dont have a trans any more. We could get something going! I might have a good crank, I have crank bearings .... thats a good start, rods pistons bearings and seals right? would you run an altanator?

I think you snould tuff truck the 610 if you dirt track the dime eh.. Eh.. Eh.. Do eet

Dude, i feel you... I'm in the same predicament. But didn't sent him $150.... Apparently he's pretty known on this forum, so that's fucked up on his part. I haven't heard from him since September.
