in 2008 I found all the rivets holding on the LR quarter panel ..... and I saw there were no welds anywhere:

 

 

 

 

So I just bondo'ed over everything, and tried to 'unflare' the arches

Got a pair of 16x9 -13 Watanabes:

 

 

 

 

And 12.1" rotors on 510 hubs:

 

 

 

With 4 Piston Willwood calipers:

So I spent moar money ... on Ermish rear coilovers .. and 11.5" 300zx rear rotors, with 2 piston Willwood calipers:

I decided to repaint the engine bay:

 

 

 

And I got a ceramic coated Nismo Comp header:

The new paint looked green in the sun, and black in the shade: ... I mixed British racing green with the leftover black paint I still had

Pretty impressive fauxtina there. I am so back and fourth on the poserness of such a paint job. I am against it in theory, but hot damn that does look cool and super convincing. And you can be ratty w/o the car rotting away which is a plus. I is conflicted.

Glad to see someone else appreciates making under the hood and other parts of their car different colors than the rest. I did my engine bay in my red 411 bright orange with a white engine and some folks just don't get it.
