unseen
hey, i picked up some 18" titan wheels for my 521.. ive seen them on some 521's on here previously... do they need certain tire size ? or any modifications to fit ? i put them on and they seem to be ok without tires, but they look like a close fit! im thinking 225x40x18x8 tire size Quote Link to comment
jefe de jefes
They fit Some people bore out the centers. I ground down the small nubs on the front hubs so that the rim can sit flush. I have 225/40's up front. Quote Link to comment
danfiveten
Dont u have to get teh hub machined to fit just like on the 620. When i got mine done it was only like 150 bucks to get the hub bored out on all 4. Have a shop do it, dont do it yourself because its easy to mess it up where you cant get a good balance job done. Bleach
I bought the correct router bit to bore out the wheels myself. Youtube shows you how. 225 width is a good fit for tire width. Use a tire size calculator to figure out what tires you can use that are proper diameter or not. 1 Quote Link to comment
unseen
Is it possible to drive the wheels short distances without grinding down the nubs ??? Thanks Quote Link to comment

Leoh911
I know a guy selling a set of 2013 titan rims but he keeps telling me that there metal, are those the ones to go for? And is there different types of rims? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
They are typically aluminum, but they do have some steel ones. All of them are metal. There are different styles but they are the same sizes for the most part. Quote Link to comment
