Best cheap shocks for a 2inch lowered 79 620?

I saw a few choices like the KYB gas-adjust or excel-G, the Toxic Drop shocks, and Gabriel shocks. Here is a link to the options I came across: Shock lowering options

Anyone have experience with the Toxic or the others?

I was gonna just get some OEM shocks but I was worried about bottoming out. They said 2 inches of travel would be left which I was told is safe. I'm thinking it's fine but if I can buy some higher performance shocks for around the same price they gave me ($26ish per shock) that would be great to know thanks!

How did the KYB shocks make a difference? I recently put the original 1972 KYBs back on my Datsun, and it rides much smoother than gas-charged Monroes. Stopped bouncing on bumps too.

lol that's just the way the pic looks.

But really yeah it feels like a new truck. I had some shite old beat up shocks on there so the difference is immense but I can tell you when I go over a bump or hit a pothole it's not like I run over a boulder anymore. It was really jarring before let me tell you!

Oh the old shocks didn't even return when compressed. So that tells a lot.

Because I'm a broke ass man lol. I go to school full time and have no job other than teaching breakdance a bit through the week. Anyhow I'll post pics of it lowered soon, stay tuned!

lol good, you can get air shocks relatively cheap through autozone.

I'll get you a part number if you're interested. I think they were $65 for a set of 2 that comes with the air lines etc.
