I haven't been able to find them at all. I'd gladly pay even 10 bucks a piece.

i used the longest (~24"?) refill blades (cheapest obviously) and carefully trimmed it flat(removed all the grooves) and then used black silicon to attach it to the chrome trim. masking tape to hold it in place while it cures.

ive done it 3 or 4 times and seems to last quite a while.

didnt remove the old rubber completely on most of them as it seems to give a better surface to attach.

What do you mean? Nissan still lists the 521 blades (which come with refills) for only $10 each. Part Number: 26360-B3000 ASS'Y BLADE-windshield wiper

The 521's are supposed to have some felt material for the windows correct?

Thats how mine is setup and i'm pretty sure every 521 I run into has the same.

Are you guys just replacing them with rubber?

dont use rubber in place of the felt, i broke a handle trying to crank it up!

a stiff crank wasnt as fun as it should be :blink:

the felt is in the window chanel, the sections where the window goes up and down in.

not across the window(=wiper / inside and out)

My truck has some felt/carpet material going across the top of the doors where the little chrome strip is at(sandwiches the window). My bro used some window rubber from a Mazda for his 521. Fit pretty good and was cheap. He pulled it out of a 87 I think......No more rattles he says!
