Datsun 1500 emblems

i was googling it up tonight and ran across DATSUN 1500 emblems. are these available in the U.S. and if you have them would you like to sell them?

It should be a 521, as that is a 521 front end. Very cool. I suppose it could be a 510 frontend also. wayno

haha...i know. i get confused between the 520 and 521.

 

 

i like the 1500 emblems so i am hoping that someone has a set so i can use them figuring i have a J15 under the hood... or rather, in the garage at the moment.

Look at the doors too, the speed line is the same as a 521, the door handles are 521 also... wing windows etc.

I have seen them for sale somewhere Burrito, I just can't recall where, I thought it was on ebay. I just found a 1500 grill emblem on ebay, search under "datsun 521", it was about 5 pages in, I am sure I have seen fender ones also, but didn't see one this time. wayno

I think these may have been used in Mexico on the J15 620s. Seen them before somewhere. Maybe Oz??

If I was you, I would go to the biggest U-pull-it wrecking yard around you, and find what you need to make a 1500 and glue/silicone it on your grill, like I did ratsun on my grill.

Just search "1500 badge", maybe a set will so up from Mexico off a 620 or 720 one day.

The only ones I have seen on the 65 datsun roadster say "Fairlady".

You could just punch your engine out to a 1600, there a dime a dozen.:lol: :lol:

620 in UK only came as Datsun 1500. No trucks left though, well, when I say no trucks, I have two and I know of 3 others, 3 in whole of UK is pretty darn rare.
