How to KA throttle cable in a 510

So i'm KAing my 510 goon,and i found that a 240sx 1989 to be exact works very well.Heres what i did..............................

I bolted the 240sx in with one bolt/screw it seems to hold fine

next is the 240sx cable

Notice the ears on the bracket,I trimmed them off to fit it flush against the firewall

and i ran the cable threw the factory throttle hole in the fire wall,make sure and remove the grommet

I will later drill 2 holes to mount the cable assembly to,and use 2 small bolts with 4 nuts to make studs to bolt it to

you will also have to bend the rod back about an inch with a box end wrench or "dogbone" wrench to take up the slack.

y not just weld 2 bolt on. drill holes for them like u plan on and put a nut on them to hold tight, then put 2 lil tacks on the head of each bolt. remove nuts and u have studs that u can mount it flush on

 

and yes i qouted all the pics just for the ollz (no you didnt)
