metalmonkey47
My GF and I were walking down her street earlier in the middle of nowhere and found this sitting to the side near some abandoned houses. I didn't get much of a chance to get a many pictures of it since there were some dogs trying to eat us, but heres what I got. The thing that caught my eye was that the hood looked nearly identical to an old roadster, but the car is a hard top. Maybe a Triumph? I'm honestly not sure. All I know is that it's fucking awesome and I want it! Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
so is it small like a triumph? Yeah, I'd say so. It's not a very big car, but it's no 510, ya know? I wanna go back and talk to the guy about it. It would make a kickass rat rod project Quote Link to comment

pharouh
I don't know.. The grille opening isn't the same. The car you saw has an almost straight line on the hood. The Packard has a curve. Now I'm dying to know what it is.. Go back! Quote Link to comment

metalmonkey47
Hmmm you guys are getting good at this. lol So what I've determined is that it's a mid to late 40's to late 50's American car. I gotta go over there this weekend, so I'm hoping the guy is home. Quote Link to comment
420n620
my guess would be it's either a 53 or 54 Chevy, 49 through 52 chevys had cold air inlets on the radiator support so yea, looks like a 53/54 chevy. so what does the winner win if guessed right. Quote Link to comment
