max121
used a wire wheel and cleaned up the floor before i paint it. still debating what to use on the floors for a rust nuetralizer. like rust doctor, or eastwoods rust converter both expensive as hell. started the work on the trunk and thx to "510keeper i had a replacement panel for this "would have finished it but welder was out of sheilding gas :( so i started cleaning the trunk and found more rust damnit anyone have any tips on how to fix this i was thinking on using a hole-saw and drilling out the rust and replacing it with good circles cut with hole saw Quote Link to comment

max121
yea thats the one, I Drove to lynnwood to look at the motor and i called him when I got in the area but he never answered phone..... i used the craigslist picture to find the kids photobucket that lead to facebook and then a name and googled address... persistant buyer here. I talked to the kid at the door he said it was his friends motor and for me to come back in the morning and he would have his friend show me the motor typical craigslist corn flakes. turns out it was a friend listing it for his friends neighbor. anyways i ended up with motor, trans ecu. 1 Quote Link to comment
max121
Anyone know how far I have to modify my stock 510 automatic trans mount? And where do I get a clutch master cylinder? Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
Should you replace the quarter?!?!?!?! That rear quarter is better than half the 510's out there. It would take WAY less work to fix it, than to replace it. Mine was 3X worse than that and it was a relatively easy fix. Plus, have you looked into the prices for a good quarter panel?
