used a wire wheel and cleaned up the floor before i paint it. still debating what to use on the floors for a rust nuetralizer. like rust doctor, or eastwoods rust converter both expensive as hell.

as the old saying goes you get what you pay for, research and see what has the best results along with an application method that you feel confident with

yea thats the one, I Drove to lynnwood to look at the motor and i called him when I got in the area but he never answered phone.....

i used the craigslist picture to find the kids photobucket that lead to facebook and then a name and googled address... persistant buyer here.

I talked to the kid at the door he said it was his friends motor and for me to come back in the morning and he would have his friend show me the motor

typical craigslist corn flakes. turns out it was a friend listing it for his friends neighbor. anyways i ended up with motor, trans ecu.

Should you replace the quarter?!?!?!?! That rear quarter is better than half the 510's out there. It would take WAY less work to fix it, than to replace it. Mine was 3X worse than that and it was a relatively easy fix. Plus, have you looked into the prices for a good quarter panel?

I talked to a body guy since I posted he said he will fix it for 300 without damaging original paint

I just wanted to fix it right so it doesn't continue to rust the trunk
