BOOTS83 Posted October 12, 2010 Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 Hello all,newbie here just aquired a 1977 datsun 810 wagon L24e have been working on her everyday for a few weeks and this site has helped alot so i decided wth ill join and share my project with other rat lovers. Info 1977 Datsun 810 wagon L24E engine, factory towing package,ac(doesnt work will be removed) auto tranny 157,000 miles rusty as hell but i love it that way,has been sitting for a few years,bought from the 2nd owner bought in the ghetto for 500$ has been broken into many times in its life(stolen plug wires,broken passenger side window) parts replaced= pitmen arm plugs,wires,cap,rotor,coil fuel pump,fuel reg,fuel filter air filter water pump 1 fuel injector fuel line problems= chokes past half throttle,will sit and bounce at 2,500 rpm,limp mode maybe? temp,voltage guages not working alt not fully recharging batt(will be replaced soon) starter sticks once in a while lack of power,again limp mode maybe? broken psngr side tail light housing...(source anyone?) plans= one word...rat dropped to the ground loud and angry,keeping the rust and paint(what is left of it) just all around slammed rat with alot of extra "wtf's" o wait..you want pics dont ya?
