oil presure gauge on a l20b ?

I've used nothing but Autometer(NOT Autoguage)for 20+ years.Get a mechanical guage and then "T" it so your factory guage or idiot light still works.USe -4 AN or copper line at the minimum.Don't even think about the plastic line.

remember the block is a 1/8 BPT threads

 

autometer makes a adpater the is 1/8BPT to that standart 1/8 NPT. fitting then you can T off a Ztrain said.

 

Hes right plastic lines suck even though I use the Autometer branks plactic lines but a metal or a braided line is best. Also a bigger line so the gause is more responsive.

Oh thats interestig to hear. I was also thinking abou. Installing one but the plastic tubes freaked me out. Last thing I want to do is clean up oil that exploded up under my dashboard!

i wanted to add one to my L16.... have a mangled 720 witha 8 plug z24 was wondering if that oil pressure sensor and gauge would work?

 

Haven't gotten on my back to pull it out yet was wondering if it was worth the effort...

I ordered digital gauges from prosport. Got an oil pressure gauge that came with the sender for about $45. Ordered a metric adapter kit for an extra $10. Should be receiving it tomorrow
