carbs on a ka

i saw this guy run a ka with dual carbs and i just wanted to know if that would be better then the fuel injection or is it just personal preferance?

Its better if you dont want to go through alot of wiring work after throwing a sr, or ka into a older datsun. I saw a sr in person with the carbs, i loved how different it was.

Carbs are completely inferior on a engine that was designed from the "get-go" with FI.If you're scared of wiring-see a therapist.

EFI is hands down better than carbs. Better starting and idle in all climates, better drive ability, better mileage. better all round performance.

efi isnt always better, Carbs are less shit to go wrong, and more old school as in the heart of the 510. lol

Was that G-Mans Datsun 620 you saw, A white all shaved, porsche rims etc....He has a KA with Dual Carbs...

Me and Joe found that an L-series distributor will drop into a Frontier (rear sump) KA with the right pedestal. I think its the EI one, not sure, but it almost looks like it was meant to work. I dig the consistency of FI but dual carbs sound bitchin on a big 4cyl
