personality i would say KA. Im putting a KA24DE in my 620:D heres my thread http://community.ratsun.net/topic/27282-ka-datsun-620/:cool: still working on it. Should be able to drop the engine soon:D The SR20 are great engines but if you spend 4 grand on a motor i rather go KA and turbo it for less the price. The Ka is known to put out a little more power:thumbup: another good thing is that the block is iron, so its good for a little truck like ours. CHECK THIS OUT http://www.importtuner.com/tech/impp_0907_nissan_ka24de_motor_build/index.html  hope it helps.

Heres another guy that did a KA swap. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/4859-datsunoobs-epic-620-build-thread/ The only hard part about anything about a build like this, is the wiring and if you have the time or money to do it. ANYTHING is possible:thumbup: And to answer your question... It'll be difficult if you dont know what your doing and if you dont have anyone that can help you mechanically:bye: hope this answers some questions.

I have driven a dual cam ka truck with 411's in the back and let me tell you it was fun. I could roast them through 3rd with ease . But my sr 510 is verry fun. I would go ka its cheeper and load,s of fun.

Now if you plan on going turbo I would go with a sr . Turbo ka cost more in the long run.
