So i went to cost less today to get plugs and wires gettin ready for gg. And i look behind their counter and they got 4inch projector headlights for 20 bucks a pair. So i bought them. The last time i bought a set was 2 years ago, tried them in the dime and the headlight rings wouldnt fit over them. Well these fit :0 for 20 bucks. Tommrow im gettin some hid's baby and converting. :-D ive been lookin for a while for some that would fit, but after my last experience i didnt want to buy anything from ebay. And i dont want to go the route of the bmw projectors even though they look good, i dont want to drill or cut ANYTHIN. What hid kits are good ones?

well i found a guy with hid kit for 50 bucks cuz he said they wouldnt fit his lights, i figure i can find a way to get the bulbs to stay in worst case scenario, heck 50 bucks for a car i drive like 10 times a year >.> I got the left light in and hooked up with a regular bulb and its brighter. I have the nice h3 sylvania lights from canada that was the shit for these cars in the day that still work great. Im going to keep the high beams with those in and just have hid's for the low beams.

I have just the bulbs. I'm more intrested in a trade. I need 9006 style bulbs. You first have to know what style bulb you need. Mikey (dislexic) has an hid conversion he's trying to do before gg aswell. Do they have more of those housings at cost less?

i have an 880 series hid kit new hook up once but wrong size for my truck it is 6000k color is diamond white slight tint of blue asking $50.00 obo

880 is a foglight #. 50 bucks is not bad price. If the ballasts work.

So i have a hid kit for sale for 45 bucks after i hacked up the bulbs a lil bit :) bulbs work fine just the plastic covers over them are gone. I had some issues with plastic deciding to catch on fire because they get TO HOT in the fucking housings :(. so that was a failure. 45 bucks is a good deal if anyone wants them, vancouver wa :).

ANd it sucks, because they looked so damn awsome untill a few issues. I would spend more time working on them but with my back i cant bend over for any longer.

The lowest I would do is 6000K, I just put 10000K in my dodge and love them

Degrees Kelvin indicates the color temperature only. Higher Kelvin ratings do NOT mean more light! The most light output, 3,200 lumens, (about 3 times that of halogen) is in the 4300 K range. 6000K is about 2,800 lumens and continues to drop as the Kelvin number increases. The whole idea of HID is more light to see with, at least it is with me. 10,000K (2,200 lumens, or only twice that of halogen) is a step back from 6,000K and it is a step back from the industry standard of 4,300K. Anything higher is about that 'blue HID' look (or purple or pink)

DOnt have brackets so i used double sided 3m tape to hold the ballast in place. with ductape over the top just in case >.> ghetto ..i mean ratsuny i know :) but untill i get a harness made to hold them and a permanet spot. But they look good.
