ttime the motor ck the lash and drive if at a steady cuiseing speed. Maybe 2 cylinders have a diffent mixture rating. also dual SUs want about 12-14 BTDC when timmed.

It is a electric distributor but it feels like my car is having points bounce

i checked the su's air fuel ratio with a color tune and they seem ok

and my timing is at about 12btdc

The story so far.....

 

I have a electric diz e i guess i should have said that. i guess i shouldnt have called it point bounce but i did not know what ells to call it.

 

He originally said it felt like point bounce. Everyone ran with it, so did I. Anyway Carlos offered a points dizzy to put in and see if this fixed the problem:

This is a remote igniter dizzy. Just as good as a Matchbox type just needs the box that goes under the dash or a GM HEI module.
