aaronxs400
anyone seen it done? Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Seen squares in a D-50 grill on a 620.... didn't care for it. The 620 has rounded lines and the 720 is more boxy. Still, I would have to see it before totally hating it. :D Quote Link to comment
herculesinwyoming
just swap the whole front clip off a 620, most of the parts are available oem online Quote Link to comment
Bleach
They came that way from Nissan in other countries. This one was sent to me a few years ago. I think it is from South America. They call them a VAN if they are 4-door trucks. Quote Link to comment
dat521kid
the reason i like my truck is cause of the round lights Quote Link to comment
fisch
I like this idea! It is funny how people used to want rectangle lights and not round ones (like modding 620's), and now it is swinging the other way and folks are wanting round ones for a more classic vintage look. Heh I've wondered how I could put round ones in my Swift GTi. Quote Link to comment
yellowdatsun
At first I thought round headlights on the 720 would look really stupid.... But after seeing that blue one, that looks AWESOME! If I had a 720 still I'd see about having one of those setups imported. Quote Link to comment
aaronxs400
well i considered taking off the aftermarket chrome grill on my 620 and trying it on my 720, but the 620 comes to a v so i dont think it will work. i have a mk11 vw golf sitting at the house, gonna measure up the grill, i know they had square lights but i think the mk1 rabbit has real similiar dimensions http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/VW-Golf-MK1-A1-Euro-Badgeless-Sport-Grill-Cabrio-Rabbit_W0QQitemZ270377966880QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories?hash=item3ef3c85d20&_trksid=p4506.c0.m245&_trkparms=72%3A1205%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318 maybe try one of those Quote Link to comment
Edz280zx
Reminds me of the 80-82 corolla's...I like the round headlights better either way. Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
i have a mk11 vw golf sitting at the house, gonna measure up the grill A Mk11? From the future? I thought they were only up to Mk6? :P i know they had square lights but i think the mk1 rabbit has real similiar dimensions If you meant Mk2 and not Mk11, they also came with round lights. And the Mk1 came both ways also. And a Mk1 grill is a lot smaller than a Mk2 grill, as is the whole car. Quote Link to comment
aaronxs400
yeah, due to my german heritage i get vw's 15 years in advance. thanks for tips on grill size though, plan on headin to the wrecking yard on tuesday. Quote Link to comment
