Does any of the cars in stanton have l20b or l series? I while back there was a turbo Z at the pick ur part in wilmigton. I wonder if the head bolts are still there.... Any local went to the half off sale? Help?

My engine just blew. So Should I get some bolts from the yard and not use these??? Turbo head????

Its a useless part that cost around 1/5 of a ok datsun 510. I rather buy some nice wheels for that price or, a good running KA, a nice interior,AC,coilovers,etc. It is clean and rare but pricey... If I wanted something rare. Thanks metal monkey! I think I just made my truck more cool and ghetto super paisa Mexican! I hate them actually ... The spinners... The spinners are actually for the western wheel. I also added a puke tank. "my engine bay looks ugly" I removed my wooden steering wheel for the rubber one and changed my shifter. I almost crashed from a lack of grip of the wooden steering wheel I need a chrome grill, a lawnmower in the back, some tractor trailer lights, and a chrome eagle hood ornament to complete the look.

Any more input? Well what is done is done. I hope the head gasket holds ok for a while... I might add that rockauto has a closeout deal on a l20b head gasket kit. I bought the headgasket kit and a intake gasket for less than 35 dollars shipped while also using the special code. Yes the gasket kit has a intake gasket... But the l20b kit has circle exhaust ports. so I also bought a square one...

AWW FUCK... Any who lets see wtf happens. Have a extra head just in case... I need to buy a new gasket head and intake just to be safe..

well is it that red one with the tilting front end? I heard he had it running. But it was running rough from what I remembered and the engine needed rebuilding. Instead of fixing the engine, he just sold it and called it good..... Sucks that it got parted... What I want to know is what happen to that awd 510 with that JDM pulsar clip some one here got.... Well long story short. My manifold hits speed bumps pretty hard. So I decided that it was a good idea to retighten my head bolts right? Some where I read that its recommended to re-tighten head bolts every oil change especially in the napz engines. Well I have this l20b right. So I took off the valve cover and loosened all the bolts and coolant started to leak from the block side. I re-tighten the head in the correct way at 60 pounds. But it had trouble starting since some water got into the cylinders. After a while it started and ran. I then changed the plugs and let it idle for 30 minutes... So my question is... Do you really have to re tighten head bolts? If so, how often? And if you do, what is the right way to do it. Thanks! My engine is still ok I guess. It feels better than before. I just didn't like that coolant leaking..
