Found the other headrest...Looks to be in good condition - no holes, fabric not faded and no rips in the mesh...

The recover is not really that hard. I did both of the ones in the picture above with my wife's sewing machine and a few hours. Bought the Recaro Avus fabric from a VW shop, it was about $45.00 a yard but if you don't mind it not being the original fabric it can be done much cheaper. Located in Oceanside - North County San Diego on the coast...

The LY was a SOHC with offset rockers and intake and exhaust valves on opposite sides of the combustion chamber. The OS Giken was a DOHC Edit...Damn you just beat me to it...

Tires are gone...

That 521 looked like it had been parked in a field or under a big tree. It was a bit rough and had some critters living in it at some point. Don't recall the tail lights. The hood looked like it could be useable but needed some work.

Upside Tires are pretty much new, maybe 250 miles on them. Downside They were on a car I had in storage for a few years so there is a flat spot on each tire and some minor dry rot on the flat spot. Just took them off the rim not too long ago - Held air no problem. I no longer have 14 inch rims so no need for them. I wouldn't use them as fronts but should be good for the rears. If anyone interested shoot me a PM...Tires are in Oceanside.

Saw these at the Ecology in Oceanside this morning. Couldn't believe there was a roadster in the junk yard...Damn Shame. No cracks in the windshield.

This thing is taking up space in the garage - A few extra parts from one of my extra Recaro Seats. This is out of a Toyota Surf SSR-G from Japan. Complete frame with seat foams, center section of fabric in good condition, side bolsters are worn out but can be replaced easily and they can be used as templates. I just finished reupholstering two of them in similar condition and they came out pretty good. The knobs and side covers still there and will toss in the two extra rear headrests as well... You can still purchase the black Recaro Avus fabric for this if you wanted to redo in original fabric. $12.00 or trade for ??? Stickers, a 6 pack of mango NOS, emblems, whatcha got... I verified through Paypal with a bank account a few years back...My Paypal account was hacked and my account cleaned out. Paypal did two things to correct the situation and return my money - Jack and Shit. Luckily my bank put the money back in my account while they went after Paypal...What an ass pain that was. Looking for a short runner dual PHH/DCOE style side draft manifold - similar to the the Mikuni style with short runners...If Mikuni - great, if not a Mikuni - great too. Short runners being key. Looking to sell my set of Solex 44s. Currently running these on my 510 (w/ Robello L20B), rebuilt about 6 months ago...Working on something new for the car and these will be extra. Not in a huge hurry to sell just looking to save space in the garage. Current Jetting OA Jet Block 220 - Main Air 162.5 - Main 57.5 - Pilot 50 - Pump 41 - Large Venturis (I think, I will check when I pull them) Carbs are in good condition and clean. No issues I have noticed, as I said they are still on the car and I drive it regularly...just recently drove 200 miles round trip with them and no issues. (I usually run air cleaners, air horns were just recently put back on). Note: the jet covers are mismatched, I lost one of the SOLEX covers and the only thing I had was one of the Mikuni ones to replace it with. Right now it will be just the carbs with a different set of air horns (will post pics of those later) The other set of air horns are in just as good of condition only with one of them notched to clear the brake master cylinder/booster. If I can find a short runner intake (Mikini style or similar) I will sell the complete set with the carbs, airhorns, isolators, and port matched manifold with center linkage. But I need to locate a short runner intake first for my project. (if you have one or now someone that has one for sale please let me know, I am interested even if I don't sell these) AN fittings, fuel line, throttle cable and bracket not included. I was at the one up in Sparks, NV this past weekend, bought a bunch of stuff and received this coupon. I believe you cards have been used already...the holes in the top are the timer on Japanese phone cards, as time was used up the phone punches a hole in the top of the card to indicate remaining time. Used these for many years when I lived in Japan. Those things are sweet, have never seen that style. GLWS

Was up at my Father's house this past weekend and he had a few shotguns he recently painted with DuraCoat paint. They came out looking really good and the paint was durable. We probably put about 50 shells through the pump and not a single chip or scratch, and that was about the 3rd or 4th it had been shot since painted. Anyway, just wondering if anyone has used it on any of there car parts. Was thinking maybe for calipers/wheels or even carbs/manifold. They have a bunch of colors and it looked a lot like powder coating when it was dried. The down side is that it is kind of expensive. http://www.duracoat-...m-finishes.com/

Damn looks like I missed a lot...Got out there about 11, didn't see a bunch of those cars. Went out looking for a short runner intake for dual Mikunis, didn't find one but heard there was a guy selling one that left prior to me getting out there. Anyone know who that might be???
