  1. There is a place where one could "practice" taking alternators apart, and see if you can get it back together in a outdoor learning environment for a small fee of $2.00,,,, they even provide hand stamps in case you need to leave and get additional tools or what-have-you..
  2. Any South Sound Datsuners Buttlickers going up that wanna travel as a group?
  3. Won't brake cleaner dissolve the coatings on the wires inside?
  4. Don't worry my son you will envitably run into way more know it alls in your future life than just those on Ratsun..
  5. I think the old plates will get you way more hassle as they are car plates and WSP newbies also won't understand why you don't have tags on the back... been there. You have to change registration/title also and the plate # isn't in the plate # spot on registration so they have to inevitably call a Sargent to read the fucking thing to them.. On I5 ,,,,,,,,, 3 times.
  6. I don't want my wife touching shit on any of our vehicles.
  7. Was the Phil you saw dressed as santa outside Target? Cuz i think i saw him yesterday.
  8. Yeah man it`s from upper floor of those buildings south of the airport,, that have the huge X made outta steel..
  9. Very good paint job is an understatement man..
  10. Yes i understand why the holes are there it's the amount of them that i was commenting on.. ie , holes inside of holes that seem to take some of the structural integrity out of them all,, especially the outside ones. It's his car,, and that's just an observation. :)
  11. Reading those twos posts is like going to a stripper bar and finding your mother-in-law is the the featured dancer.. On one hand there is naked women ,,, but on the other she just won't shut the fuck up!!.
  12. Try calling Rapid Brake ,, since they moved i'm not sure they carry alot of stock like they used to but they might be able to use their parts books to find interchange.. This is what Google gives as their address and such but i don't know if right. 2851 R w Johnson Rd SW, Tumwater, WA 98512 Phone:(360) 357-4958 If you have a dog,, roll up the hill a little farther, there is an excellent dog pooping area right next to a powdercoating business my dog seems to love. The O'riellys over on Pacific in Lacey is the regional hub store so try calling them as they carry alot of Datsun parts on the shelf and have easier access to main wherehouse if in hurry..
  13. Yeah that tent,,, i went looking for someone or something that was in there and when you get right up to it, it's HUGE!! I believe right as i opened door i thought to myself "holy shit" . opened the door, and realized by all the people staring at me i had said it out loud. :D
  14. A tent a sleeping bag, and a cooler with condiments and pop. We usually get our hotdogs and crap like that at the grocery store when we get there. If we had a truck in the mix we would probably bring a propane grill. There is a few really good cheap places to eat around town so bringing food isn't really necessary either. .. Yes we bring small box of tools and jugs of water but i never go long distances without them even in our newer vehicles. I must add,, "maps" shows 2 1/2 hours but really it doesn't seem that far at all since it is mostly high speed freeway cruisin,, then when you get off in Organ city it is funky city / backroads type driving.
  15. I did the same thing with one of our minivans,, rebuilt everything on the front but cheaped out on the alignment ,, boom there goes a couple hundred,, trying to save $50. bucks.
  16. i find song fitting for this picture,, not a sarcastic dig because of title.. :)
  17. Even for drag racing there would never be that many adjustment holes,, that's why you use a new invention called adjustable Heim joints to move rear end around.. It looks cute though.
