  1. Vinyl holds up pretty well, i know this guy has had the wrap on his valve cover for a couple months and hasn't lifted or bubbled, but like anything else it depends on the quality of the vinyl. If anything the heat makes it shrink causing it to adhere better. Are you using 3M Di-noc or whatever it's called? I can vouch for this type of vinyl it does look like carbon fiber, they have Gloss, Flat, Dry, Matte finishes.
  2. I did the same on my Civic, but i would only recommend it as a temp.... it started to flake off after a year or two. Reduced it with Mineral Spirits and shot it through a HVLP
  3. Five bucks for a carb? Hot Damn! Around here carbs cost 30-40 bucks at the Junkyard...... Even if you are a cheap datsun owner in SoCal if you need junkyard parts you already know you'll be paying a lot, you guys don't know how easy you have it with Mom and Pop junkyards.. all we have is Pick your Part and Ecology, and the only mom and pop shop around me has "competitive prices" like 2 bucks less than ecology/pyp and you can haggle with him. Go to the 510 realm thread and post this same thread... i dare you
  4. The wheels i like aren't available new anymore you have to make do with what you have. We should start a thread on why people like putting everything in the exterior isle of Autozone on their car next.

  6. I could care less about Hellaflush, i have stretched tires on my truck, not excessive just enough to clear.. hardly noticeable too. (I'm the guy with the Dark Blue 620 with the lip/tonnue at the OC Meet) I did it for a reason, not to be cool.

  10. Trying to find tires, shop i frequent didn't have any but will stretch the tires for me. Looking for 265/50/R15 I'll probably run these for a bit untill i get my Centerlines polished.
  11. This most likely is a stupid question but what does it do? Is some sort of engine management? Or does it just make wiring simpler?
  12. Or where the old one took place? Brookhurst and Warner Sam's Club parking lot i think it was?
  13. Took all the red fancy clear off the lips, Chrome was beautiful underneath
  14. Think of the strain on the Rear-end and poor little L16.... If 15x9 Steel wheels weight 18lbs alone.....
  15. Well they fit... just barely.... and there is about an inch to an inch and a half of poke, Flares should hide them perfectly, look to be custom made (Two Wheels cut and welded together..... which is safe and is pretty common on both Steel and Aluminum Wheels).
  16. Meet was great, finally i wasn't the only person with a 620.. We need a spot less populated though to avoid getting hit by people cruisin by and ricers.
  17. It's 9PM and it's parked on the street.... Tomorrow after i run errands i'll test fit. They're extremely heavy so we might cut them and make widended steelies for the 280z. Well see.... :P
  18. Got these off my buddy Ben today, 15x15? -30ish Going to toy with them and make them fit the truck....
