  3. This content is currently unavailable Fix the link!!! I want to see this!
  4. Save yourself the trouble and don't wrap it... http://www.centuryperformance.com/exhaust-header-heat-wraps-do-not-use.html
  5. Mike he wanted to hear that the their got his ass kicked by some cops that had a bad day. I support that fully.
  6. We got a brand new 2014 Frontier at work. It's freaking sweet!

I drove it...un-impressed. It was comfy, but there was just so much lacking that i couldn't enjoy it.

  7. DatzenMike = American Jeremy Clarkson
  8. Alright, so i'm gonna start learning how to log AFR's on my LC-1 soon, but it's kind of confusing. I don't know how the LC-1 is supposed to log properly without a tach reference. It logs AFR's fine I'd assume, but it's gotta be hard to read the logs without throttle position or tach reference. Using the wideband I've learned quite a bit, but my ignorance to jetting is still leaving a little hole. -Cruising my afr's are about 13-14 ish. Sometimes fluctuating a hair over 14. Seems pretty accurate. -Under acceleration I dip WAY down into the 10-12 range (even under normal low load acceleration), which to me seems like it's going to be quite a bit rich, and explains why even as a conservative driver I average about 15-17mpg. Not sure how I could correct this, or even how far from normal that would be. Air jets? Emulsion tubes? -Idle is about 12.8-13.3 and seems to be pretty consistent there. I do notice after idling a short time at lights it seems like it wants to flood, as my AFR's drop down to low 12's as my revs drop. A little rev, and it sorts out fine for a short bit. - I have a bit of an idle issue, that until now I had no idea the cause of. After spirited or even slightly harder then normal driving, I'd find that idle was impossible. Before I didn't know why, but now with the wideband I see it's leaning WAY the fuck out. As the idle drops I see AFR's up to 20+. Just to give you an idea, the O2 reads 21.2 +-.1 to be ambient air in the exhaust pipe. it's leaning WAY the fuck out. - I need to step up the accelerator pump nozzle 1 size. When transitioning from cruising to heavier throttle I see AFR's jump to 16-17 for no more then a split second before steadying out. Obviously not enough fuel through the accel pump. Everyone needs to invest in a wide band. I learn SO much!
  9. That's awesome, thanks man. Your truck makes me want titan rims and bags haha. It's such a good look, my truck just wouldn't go for it
  10. I'll be starting bodywork again soon, but this time with an end goal! I'm gonna get the body well sealed for some temporary color, aka plastidip. At least until I get another DD and can gut the body of the truck. It's got some holes to be filled. They have some pearl and other add-ins that would look pretty cool. https://www.dipyourcar.com/
  11. Sorry guys, so I'm back! I ended up picking up a whole dashboard out of a '79 620, complete with factory flashers, headlight switch, wiper switch, etc, crack free bezel, new dash carpet, etc. I also got new hood bumpers, king cab window seals, front valence lights NEW, new re-pro headlight housings and retainer rings, sweet door mirrors, and a few other small things. Stopped by Summit Racing on the way home and picked up the in house brand wideband kit, which happens to use the Innovate LC-1 controller. Worth it for sure! I'll post on that more later though... Pics of busy work... This guy shipped from Cyprus, and took about 2 months to get. Worth it! I really like it...
  12. I've always wanted to go. I saw the sign up sheet on Facebook and I don't think anyone at the time was running less then 1000HP
  13. Sounds like GA police. if you aren't obviously getting into trouble here, most of the time they won't bother you. If you're outside city limits you're okay as long as you're a few hundred feet from the closest residence or something like that. My dad and a friend go out into the woods about 30 min north and blow stuff up once a year. Never had a cop show up in the last few years they've been doing it, and they do some serious shooting with some wicked hardware.
  14. Nice! I thought about doing that myself before I sold it. Then decided to buy a 620 instead.
  15. I'm at work guys, I'll be back later! Put the new bezel in last night and its sick! Also gonna be starting bodywork soon and doing paint in a short bit
  16. Holy hell. That car is smaller then i remember. Just cut the halfshafts and weld them together with a proper sleeve. Tadaaaaaa! Redneck engineering that will last forever.
  17. All kinds of stuff. 240's, miata's, best just to hop on 240atlanta and look around. I might know someone with a whole rear IRS setup out of an old S13 coupe. I think he has the axle, struts and everything. Probably be a lot happier making something with IRS work then trying to make a Ford 8.8 fit. Not that the Ford diff is hard, but the irs stuff is plentiful around here. The worst part is, I haven't owned that car in what...like 3+ years and still no one forgets  I check my lugnuts every few weeks since that crap...
  18. Why not use a VLSD? Easy to find them, and probably a lot more fun to drive on.
  19. Have you done a leakdown test? Sounds to me like it needs rings. 135 is okay, but 90 is horrid. Probably not the source of your problems though.
  20. drove to summit last night and got an awesome parts haul. Picked up a metric shit on of interior/exterior parts from a guy for next to nothing. Stopped by Summit Racing on the way home and bought their in house brand wide band 02 which happens to use the innovate LC1 logger/controller for 175 which was a screamin deal. Gonna weld in the bung tomorrow, and hopefully have the gauge in by the end of the week so I can look into my jetting. Moar on my parts haul in the AM though!
  21. The axle from an early 200sx (still Datsun) though rare, are good bolt in axles. They are H190 axles like the trucks IIRC, but with a different spline count. Still 4 link and bolt right in, but with factory rear disks.
  22. That's why I sold it. It was starting to 'knock' so I decided to get out from under it while I still could. Couldn't afford to fix something I needed to drive and at that point could afford something better (if you consider my 620 'better') It was janky from the beginning. If you look under the dash on the passenger side, the whole engine/body harness had been separated for some reason, then taped back together. Don't scrap that trans. It was worn, but it's worth money to the right person.
  23. Also, I kinda miss this car and you must be local to me if you just got i from auction, so if you ever need an extra set of hands, LMK. I miss wrenching on this POS. I still remember changing the busted idler arm in the rain at night so I could drive it to work the next day. Or pounding out crappy wheel studs to the wheel stays on the next time.
