It's the same guy that's got the 3TC 210 he's working on. Theres 3 cars in the pictures. A: turbo'd '84 RX7 with a chevy 350. B: Z31 with an upgraded turbo. Much larger then stock. C: SBC Z31. Not much that I know about it.
  3. Just got back from looking at a turbo'd SBC RX7. OMFG........

  7. Which do you guys think would be the best, streetable motor as well as power efficient with lots of potential? I'm still playing with ideas for my LZ20E. I wanna make the decision so I can have any machining done early. I know I can use the Z24 crank with cut down counterweights to achieve a displacement of 2.3L but at the same time, cut down on my potential for high revs. I can use longer Z24 rods for a slightly shorter stroke and higher rev limit. With this, I was thinking about having the block bored to 89mm to accept larger Z24 pistons. As far as induction, I still plan on using an L20 head and timing cover with a down draft Weber DGV. All my questions are still currently related to rotating assembly.
  8. WOW man. Just wow...... Sell it and bout 1K more Datsuns and a big garage to keep em in!!
  9. I am.... SUPER BUSEY!

  11. Fucking yes man!!!!! Too bad I am teh poor :(
  12. I was on my phone at work  Now for the updates!! New idler arm! And monkey girl with my car for easter
  13. happy easter everyone!

  14. There are two L20's to my knowledge. First, the L20A, which is a 2.0L inline-6 from the Skyline (correct me if I'm wrong) And theres the L20B which is the 2.0L inline-4 from the trucks, and other various Datsuns. Yours is an L20B.
  15. My engine has a lot of oil spray at high revs too Maybe I would benefit from a cheapo catch can? It can't be good for the engine.
  16. So you wanna run the two breathers into a catch can?
  17. Really sorry to hear that man :( I know it's not easy letting such a young friend go, but just know she's in a better place. ALWAYS REMEMBER!!
  18. Thats a good question The tool is somewhere in a pile now. I threw it out of anger. Would make a nice write up though Guess I'll have to try and replicate it
  19. I considered it. Actually I'm thinking brake parts cleaner may be better, since it will dry better. I may just take it to be vatted though. It may help me to put it on a stand and pull the freeze plugs, but who knows I'm gonna waste more time on it one of these next few days. I'm busy as hell.
  20. WOW man! Just.. WOW. You are doing a damn good job with that bad boy
  21. Damn man, If I knew you were gonna be selling the engine, I would have held off on building one! Oh well, GLWS.
  22. Probably getting a bore and hone. And/or crank mike.
  23. I replaced the whole Idler arm assembly. Removing it from the body wasn't a problem, but getting it off the steering shaft was a bitch. My ball joint separator would have been perfect, but it wasn't wide enough to clear that bushing and not tear it up. So, I took out the welder and took some measurements, then made a cheap little tool. Knocked it out, put the knew one in and SUCCESS. 3 hours of work is done.
  24. All I did was put 100PSI through the water jacket. I did it for like 30 min and it's still blowing out more shit. I gotta decide how to get the rest of the shit out.
