  1. Sup vengance! Guess it's fate that I was just replying to your other thread on sofresh and find this here? I expect you to be at Southrnfresh 2 @ GZ so I can drool all over your paint
  2. AGM ftw. Get Optima/Odyssey. My 210 had a 34R red top Optima I got from work for $38 brand new. (Secret) Now my yellow 620 has a yellow top 34 series in it that I payed $42 for Keep in mind your batteries only as good as your connections. Spend $15 replacing both battery cables and you'll be very satisfied. Use di-electric grease and watch for any rust on your grounds.
  3. What year Z33 did this come from? Friend was looking for a more recent trans for his TT setup.
  4. Do you guys realize that this thread is over a year old?
  5. Waiting for Pegasus Racing to ship my parts... It's been two days!

Accel pump for my weber and some other small things. ARG I just RTV'd the old one until It comes in. And I did pay for imidiate processing. It's delaying on Sunday.

  6. Congrats dude! Keep regular here. We have some events your way coming up!
  7. I got a non-matchbox electric dizzy to go on when i got the carby. I'm gonna get a cheap MSD ign for the control module.
  8. No compression? As in 0 or just low? Why not troubleshoot first? Valves, headgasket, etc? A series is an easy motor. Either way, good luck! Hope you find what you're looking for.
  9. I'm gonna ignore that I hear that WAY too muuch
  10. Yup, got the adapter with the weber. it's a tall one, but it fits great. Made some gaskets out of some Fel-Pro material I got at work. Temprarilly hooked the return spring at the front of the carb just long enough to drive it. Weber runs great! Other then a slight leak @ the accelerator pump, it's awesome. I'm waiting for the replacement in the mail before I drive it.
  11. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/36686-my-2006-avalanche-was-stolen/page__gopid__564556?do=findComment&comment=564556 Free bump!
  12. Congrats on the recovery!! I may have to invest in one of your tracking systems now
  13. Stock carb went to shit. Got a Weber from Hitch this morning. Just finished a basic cleaning (all jets, passages cleared) Can't wait to hear it run again! Mike, the carb was cold when it was bubbling. I'm sure it was just a vacuum leak. Also, I don't have that manifold on the truck. Someone has swapped it, but I do have the stock U67 manifold if I ever decide to go back to it.
  14. Just more of a reason to beef up the rest of the car
  15. How wasn't it? The discussion is over KA - SR, but why not VG? It within reason, and not much more complicated then the KA/SR. Were' not talking RB or anything, just VG, If we seriously stuck to the topic on EVERY thread, Ratsun would have such a vast amount of creative minds. I'm on Ratsun because we're diverse. I'd like to keep it that way. VIVA LA RATSUN. Any quest you buy that cheap though is a hunk of crap. i wouldn't trust the engine. Besides, aren't the FWD motors different? Z31's are a dime a dozen. I'd rather pull the whole drivetrain and use that
  16. I seriously LOVE the SR, but I think it's overplayed in Datsuns. Nissans in general actually. If you have the money, why not just go VG? The extra CC's and two extra cylinders gives you potential way above the SR's
  17. BACK ON TOPIC. Because I'm sick of reading everyone's mindless bitching. I like the displacement of the KA, and it's direct relation to the L series. Not to mention how easy it is to find one when you blow yours up. Cheap to build and readily available.
  18. Gonna reply to you guys in detail later since I'm off to work, but for now I'll let you know what I see. Pulled the carb and rebuilt it. All jets were clear, but I had some garbage in the float bowl and in the accelerator pump thingy. I got it on now and it's running even worse. When you put your hand over the top of the carb running, theres a ton of bubbles pulled into the float bowl. ECK
  19. This is with it off on the side of the road. Click for video Seems like it may be pulling in air. I set the timing, and I think this is not going to be related to spark here. I do not have a good mist of fuel in the carb. It's kinda..... crappy is the easy way to put it. Inconsistent if you want the technical term. Gonna pull the carb when it cools off. Good thing I got a rebuild kit!
  20. Just parked the truck. I have no power above idle. Just put on an accelerator pump, new condenser, ign coil, points, etc. Popped the hood and the sightglass in the carb is bubbling :/
  21. Whats the fuel tank capacity on a 620?
