  1. GOT EM! More then happy with the fitment... Pictures coming to my build thread.
  2. I might be keeping those. I do like them as well, but since they're 14's, it's killing me. I've been having trouble finding a 5speed and the only other option to bring down my RPM's is bigger rims/tires. Maybe when i get the 5speed I'll be back on the oldies again.. The thing that attracts me the most is that they're WIDE. Of course, not going to be something I'd drive on daily of course, but just a fun back up set. They're Eagle Alloy 028's 15x10 with a -45 offset. Going to pick them up in a bit... I figure if I don't like them, I could polish the lip and flip them for a profit. I probably will keep them though. For $100 I won't argue it! Hopefully when I get to them today, I don't find one bent/chipped/curbed. The rear on this ZX is a 15x10 w/ -45 offset..
  3. Soooo cool! I would love to daily that! I'd rock the shit out of it.

    Damn hookers!!

iMO, trade it for a shorty. Isn't hard. Long tubes are great on 510's. I managed to trade mine for 2 shortys. Gave one away, or I'd give it to you.

    Damn hookers!!

My advice: Don't do it. Long tube headers were designed for cars. If you ditch the torsion bar all together, it might fit, but you'll have no suspension. The trucks need a shorty header, where the exhaust can be run between the torsion bar and the frame without hitting each other.
  6. Thank you sir! Watch for info here for the event... probably around the Atlanta area. GLWS, I'll try to pass it on.
  7. Might try posting on Southrnfresh Forums since you're local. Also, stick around here! We're planning some cool Datsun events in GA soon that you're more then welcome to come to.
  8. No kidding man! It was great having her around to help. She's an ace at this stuff. Took out a lot of paint pretty quickly. Indy, she clipped her leg with the disc about 30 seconds in right before I took that picture. Didn't even complain about it (surprising because she hit it at about 3000 RPM) I got her some gear right after that! :ninja: Hainz, that's what baseball bats are for  haha Yeah, there wasn't any fluid there, they just glassed over real quick from the dragging brake. These Shoes are made in India (pretty good stuff also)

  10. So I fount these trolling Craigslist last night and I've had them on my mind all day....... 15x10, and looks like a HUGE DISH. Also selling the set for.... get this.... $100 I've always wanted wide, Aluminum rims and would make a fun set for a track day/autocross session I've wanted to start preparing for. Dunno... I love my 15x8's and I think these would look INSANE on a flared 620. Only reason I ask is because it's quite a drive to them and I need someone to talk me into it :ninja:
  11. That's the same thing I wanna know! EDIT: Oh shiii look what I found on CL browsing... http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/pts/3195316501.html Hope it's there Friday, cuz then they're MINE!

  16. Nothing new to report really other then some small things. My heater valve, heater core, and radiator have all developed a leak after replacing the old, worn out radiator cap so now I gotta decide what to do there... Getting fenders rolled this weekend so I'll be back with the old rims again. For now, I'll leave you some pictures. _DSC0055-2 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0062 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr And of course, kudo's to monkeygirl for helping out with the bodywork! She is now, of course, back south in Florida again, so maybe I'll see her again in a few months. _DSC0063 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr
