  1. Can you give me a price on the timing cover?
  2. ^^Indy tells the truth. Look over craigslist for a used welder cheap. Also, Home Depot rents out nice Lincoln Electric welders for about $45 a day last time I looked. If the rust is bad there, just wait until you look over the rest of the body. You're gonna need a welder.
  3. Yup, I have mine and I like it. Perfect fit! For $25 quality is awesome.
  4. Stone mountain sounds good. Only about an hour drive for me. Actually, it's pretty local for a lot of the guys. Would be a fun backroads drive over.
  5. Holy crap, seriously? No way Oriellys can be selling them off at over 50% my cost :geek: Do you know what brand kisor?
  6. The ones from AZ are good. Shoes are good as well, UNLESS they're in an Albany (blue) box. If that's the case, run for the hills. Good wheel cylinders from a parts store run about $20 a piece. Shoes are average the same.
  7. Tire out of balance maybe? I have the same issue with my truck. I just don't go about 55mph
  8. Dammit, finally thought I was contributing then realized we're working on a 521 :poke: Well, I was close right? lolol
  9. Good deal. Nope! Did my change in about 10 seconds! Just reach behind the the dash to the right of the steering column and grab the bulb holder in the center of the back of the gauge. Rotate counter clockwise and it pulls straight out!
  10. You should see them at your Autozone very soon, if not already :P The planogram dropped about a week agoish,
  11. How about cutting up a bicycle innertube and wrapping it around the strut before sliding on the sleeves?
  12. Did you bench bleed the new master cylinder before putting it on the truck?
  13. Yep! Went right in, no problems! Fit my gauge light, and my indicator lights perfect as well! I'll get the P/N in the morning. 194LED is the P/N I think. Price of the bulbs might hurt your feelings.... they're so new that I can't even seem to find a picture of the bulbs. I'll keep searching.
  14. I wish I could get away with that, but Winters coming soon, and this is supposed to be a COLD one. On an unrelated note, Autozone now carries Sylvania (Osram) LED's in 6K. Also finished with one rim...
  15. Congrats on the buy! http://community.ratsun.net/topic/691-how-to-post-pictures-and-keep-online-photo-albums/ Pictures are sacred to us, so we have a how-to thread on them! ^^
  16. Doesn't it share the same clutch as the KA-E? Lots of aftermarket options there.
  17. A little off topic... but stock speakers in a 620 were 6 inch right? I have some Rockford Fosgate PUNCH speakers and some Polk 4'' sitting around right now.
  18. Wow, that's interesting. Wonder why someone used that...
  19. It very possibly is. I'm not an epoxy guy. I'd rather weld it/fix it/replace it. But sometimes it's just hard to do. I may not have given it enough cure time before exposing it to gas. (About 12 hours before gas hit it.)
  20. Not a bad car. Only thing that concerns me is that the add says "Very fast car." That means at some point it was driven hard/fast. It has what appears to be a stock L16 in it, so it was in no way "speedy" from the factory.
  21. If Indy was half as good with the welder as he is with the camera, this car would be done already :poke: Practice makes perfect, so get to practicing!
  22. Floor plugs you'll get from Ebay. measure diameter (I think is 2'') and order! Window crank probably also on Ebay. Weather Stripping is on Ebay. Parking lamps are on Ebay. Valence is on Ebay and Partstrain.com BRAND NEW. Soooo check ebay  if no one comes up with it here.
