    how can I tell the difference between a points coil and elec ign coil?

      My electric ignition coil is big, almost tobig for the bracket, but so was the old one with my points. I dont know wich is wich, i jyst used the one that came with the dizzy

      They usually are labeled on the side. The paint might come off over the years though

      Put yer tongue on each one and crank it, should be able to tell the difference.
