I wouldn't be too concerned with the timing chain. See if its been done already. Needed around 100-120k. You will need to drop the trans to gain access. The VR6 is pretty solid. But yes vws are a little weird. I wouldn't let this change your mind unless you don't have money/time to do it. Or if you are not mechanically inclined.

some kid is selling it on the other side of the state. i talked to his father today and he told me the real story about the car. not that he is just upgrading. apparently it hase some ecu or wiring issues. so it is now a no go.

well rode the dirt bike maybe a little too hard today. started to not want to idle, then i shut it off for a break and it was locked up. got it unlocked after jumping on it a few times with no start. hauled it home and tore apart thinking i broke a ring or something. nope. piston rod is locked up :( going to the dealer now

does any one have any weber don draft parts? i really rea;ly need one part! its the little part that goen on the primary shaft, and opens the secondary when theres enough throttle given. goes right behind the trunnion

well i had the bars completely out and didnt see anything that looked ike the ones in the write up. i adjusted them at the control arms. there is a c-clip at the back of the bar that would aow you topop off the arm the bolt goes on to adjust

got arrested the other night... forgot to use blinker and got pulled over :( come to find out i have a suspended license, and have had one for 4 months without knowing! fml. stupid cops here fuck up everything

had it happen - make sure to make a point that you did not receive any CERTIFIED letters informing you in the change to your driving privileges. It wont fix what caused it but i should protect you from driving suspended charges.

limited slip rear end, interior door handles, and flowmaster 10 series on the 95 chevy this weekend. so sick of hearing this noisy pinion, and huge hole in muffler. and having to open the door just to get out. kinda sucks when i forgot my keys in the house... only had it 2 weeks, and almost a grand going in now...

Don't feel bad, my passat cost me $1400 within the first 2 weeks due to the engine harness burning. Odd thing though, my 86 Caprice just recently started ccausing me issues at 225,000 miles.
