I havent been for a couple years but who's bringing the ratsun BBQ? I wanna pitch in on the BBQ so I can eat on the cheap without having to dine on fast food all weekend. Maybe we can get organized and see who's bringing what? :)

Well I should be in attendance. I am trying to hustle up some last minute money. Nearly just a week away. Someone purchased an ipod from me and already paid and wants it delivered to canby, I think they did it like that so I had to go :p... Also I got a $135 ticket today for modified exhaust, kinda put a hamper on my excitement but Im just gonna worry about that when I get back and try to fight it.

I see now that I can run the HEI module.. I just used the search function ;).... Do I have to have a 79 type coil? will my 1.5ohm with resistor work?

i just got a 78 dizzy, with the box, it dosnt look like my pertronix will work, and the box dosnt have the wiring clip... What are my options now? do I need the big black box? why cant the dizzy just go straight to my coil?

need 1 more can of adhesive to finish my blue... :)

got the new weber on my truck and Im running WAY better... New distributor should be on early next week and I should be running and driving reliably again.. anyone wanna help me diagnose my brakes at canby? I cant figure em out! :/

Got My weber on and the old hitachi off... It runs a thousand times better.... Theres a "flat spot" now though, when I try to hold it at a certain Rpm in motion, I would say like 2500rpm it boggs and stumbles, but it accelerates ok and idles wonderful its just that one spot, do you think jets, accelerator pump or is my adjustment off? I think I could maybe be off on timing as well...

1Lo620, I have 2 rolls of black, one roll is marine grade waterproof, sunproof stuff with no backing, just canvas, its been treated and water balls up and runs right off. And the other roll (same brand as blue) Is also nylon canvas but it has rubber backing that is water proof but it hasnt been treated with anything so the water absorbs a little but wont go through.. Havent decided which one will be better for the phantom top and which will be better for the cover...

Got My canvas today, should have it upholstered tomorrow if weather dosent mess up my program, was very rainy today!

well it didnt blow off on the way to classes. I think its good :)... I left a fender mirror at a friends and it fell off his desk while he was making me some rubber washers and shattered :/

I think my trucks a pile of shit, and I will most likely be high on exhaust fumes from having the top down when I get there. But im coming! :)

Poor man status, 2x4 braces running across bolted to cover, in perfect length to eliminate side to side movement, and with one way up front and one near the back to eliminate front and back movement... Im going to add a couple more braces for rigidity and some kind of a rod that runs through floor to lock it so no one can get in... nothing has been screwed into the truck :) also going to upholster with canvas, and upholstering roof in canvas like a fake soft top (phantom top) to match the bed :)

test fit in lowes parking lot... Mounted and functioning, just need to make some tweaks in the morning to get it to lay a little more flush up front... Here in a couple days Im going to order something to upholster it... :)
