So in my opinion it can be done its been done 100 times over you would not be the first.I want to put a LS2 in my truck,dont know why i did not start yet well i guess i just dont want to cut my firewall,but time will tell.Go to truck photo gallires and look under 521,you will find a blue one with a blower sticking out of the hood.and another yellow one that has been done to.Also go to 320's and look at the cool red one with a V-8 under the hood with even a smaller engine bay.I do agree with the guys that we would hate to see you start and never finish and it becomes a basket case,but if you want to do it and you have the know how and the tools time and money you could it for less then a KA-24 swap.Remember a chevy V-8 would take a cheap fuel pump and 2 wires and it will run and even with the added weight instint 300hp.

The only thing i did so far was the starter the fuel pressure regulator and i against some of the friends i have here i put back the fan and shroud.Mine is clutchless and my shroud is in cherry condition so i thought why buy a electric fan and run more wires if it aint doing me really any good,besides whats running the fan a 2hp loss i can deal with that.And with the 3 core radiator i think i will be fine shape,talking with John he has the same radiator and his car runs very very cool.Just bought longer wheel studs so getting those machined right now so i can install,i need to take the pitman arm off and idler arm off to drill the taper on the bottom so i can flip the drag link to clear the oil pan.Also want to get some nice bucket seats and redo my interior in leather and suede.My interior is all new but i want to do it again.Im not painting it right now so i just want the patina look until i strip it down and paint it.

Well thats good to know.Because of course i stayed L series and if 400# springs work great.What is the overall length you buying 7".And also check out Fox shocks through like Off road warehouse or ORW.com and check there prices plus i think there the same if not a little smaller diameter,ill see if i can get a part number and i will let you know,i know mike at Kar Tek in corona and i will get prices and part numbers and let you know if you are interested.

I was thinking he is not the only guy that had problems with 400# springs,i cant think of the other guy,also if you check on page 3 of al allen's truck you will see the torsion bars all cut out.i will try to find out who the other guy is.just hate to see you buy or go through he work if its not going to work or waste money,like i said im doing it to so i would like this figured out to before i buy and fly.

Ok, he removed the torsion bars and im doing fox coil overs myself.I guess my point i was trying to make is if the KA/Sr20's are heavier then the L series,so then you might need heavier springs.but if the 400's work then right on.
