Took it for a spin today not bad.The valve cover gasket was screwed up so pulled it off today sent a few things out to the polish shop.Want to do the bed skirts and move them low like that truck from New Zealand and try to get the coil overs done ASAP these trucks ride like crap lowered this low thats for sure.

I got so many little things to do and i got no time,i dont know if i want to even take my truck to the JCCS.The tranny is leaking for what ever fuckin reason still got to tune it make my bed cover chrome some things lower the sheet metal on the bed.This is driving me nuts.

IM RUNNING MINE WITHOUT FILTERS TO,YOU WILL BE FINE OIL WILL GET DIRTY QUICKER BUT NOTHING LIKE THE DEAP THROAT SOUND.sorry forgot caps were locked not yelling.

Nice truck.and like skib said which I new just forgot to mention is the SU carbs those are nice but I think hard to come by for the 4bangers but 32/36 would be nice to.good find another one saved love it.

All us re indexed guys I would say are the same.I'm switching to coil overs up front but even that,I don't think I can get much lower.

Welcome aboard,and why in the he'll you would want to put duel sidedrafts on a1600.I had a single sidedraft and that was fine or all you need is a 32/36 weber.

Ok i googled it and got various ways to hook it up,I got the new 6al with all the wires going out one way it seems straight forward but not sure. Big red goes to 12 volt big black goes to good ground grey is for tach black/orange goes to positive and negative of coil Small red goes to switched 12 volt or ignition white says it goes to ignitor So is it that simple or do you have to disconnect the igniter on the side of the dist,thats were i get confused,Also i know alot of people dont like them i bought its in my truck i like wasting money.thanks

Rerouting the fuel lines looks a little cluttered and mounting my MSD box why i dont know looks cool i guess.got to work all next week untill next monday dont know if i will finish it.

I came but there was only like 9 cars there at about 230 in the afternoon.i drove in and drove right out.i hope you guys have a good time.
