  3. Well glad to see another truck on the road and if your going to keep it that color then please paint the wheels a diffrent color.And i love the fender mirriors do it and dont worry what other people think.Except for the wheel color choice of course.

  9. You sir are correct with black,that will be one ugly or one nice paint job.Red sounds like the way I will go plus door jams and all that will get painted anyway I'm stripping it down to the bones.All in due time my friend.
  10. It does have dents and the bottom of the passenger door has rust.I want something stock but a little brighter,like you Wayno i like my red's and i like black so we will see what direction i go.
  11. And check with Datsun parts llc or al Allen he will have everything you need to dress that motor up to.powder coating and chrome and polishing is nice and costly to.
  12. Well the reason would be is your not running the line were it runs now it will come from the rear right to the carb.
  13. It can add up that's for sure take a look on my post.to get a idea you don't have to go that in dept but the more nice you go the more you can spend.Or just strip it clean and paint everything and put back together all stock and clean that always works too.
  14. Time to get paint quotes and get the coil overs and bed skirts going.need to be done in time for JCCS next year.
  15. I got one ordered already.it's the new 510 and a 521 truck.

Clean all the wires cut the battery horn and fuel filter mounts out.run a electric fuel pump under the truck and run the fuel line from behind the motor to the carb.try and reroute your clutch and brake lines to clean that compartment up and you will be looking good.mount the battery in the bed to.
  17. Guys thanks for the input,I understand all that.Like my caption says just testing the waters for a 510 if some one is interested I'm not desperate I just don't need 5 cars now.

I have a 2001 pre runner automatic a/c 2.7 liter with 165000 miles trucks runs like a top and nothing is wrong with it.The truck looks like this minus the lift that i just took off.Im wondering if any one would be inerested ina trade for a 2 door 510.Again just seeing whats out there if any not desperate.Let me know if you have something and hit me up.Thanks.

  23. I would take it before you oldskool but i think you need a special winshield rubber to fit it if im not mistaken or does it come with it.That is nice though.
