  1. Your to far buddy, but get er done and thank you.
  2. Make a box and mount under battery like I did. Joel made the box for his wagon and then made me one. Right under the passenger side back seat. Of course all that horsepower.lol
  3. Sir how are you, I got that from Japan as a joke for my older high horsepower engine.lol It bolts right up and I hope the Robello 2.2 stroker can use it.lol
  4. you dirty dog you with the V6, for the record it looks very clean, maybe attack the wires a little and get that battery a new home but bravo my friend bravo.
  5. Brother thank you for the compliments, I try my best and although not perfect by a long shot I think if you wrap the package up right and put a good nice bow it will look good. Also the colors this wagon is so something I would of never done with he red and green, b ut it just worked and it seems to draw people to like it as well.
  6. Well good question as yes long trips should be worth it. All in all it would be a show but I thought to try that here, I would love to see the PNW guys as well come down and have a good time in the drier climate.
  7. All, I was thinking of doing a Canby style event here in California. I am tired of the JCCS bullshit in my opinion, the show has gone to commercial for me. With that said, I had a place in mind called Prado Park in Chino, CA. The VW guys do there camp out every year and then drive to Lake Havasu after. I really think this show would do well. Not looking at making money, I know that is said a lot, but truly NOOOOOOO. I have at least 2 financial partners that seem to like the show idea as well. I will be spending some time finding costs for the park to camp and what can we and can't we do. No 70.00 entry fee with a 3.00 plastic piece of shit plaque that is all political, just getting the right people as judges with no bias and have peoples choice awards as well. To me that is the true award. This is fin no way to steal from anyones show or ideas, I had the privilege to go to the last 2 CANBY shows and they were a lot of fun and just kick back like they should. If any one has ideas comments or cash[lol] let me know, again early stages and if the show is a go it will be when its cooler and around JCCS for the people that just needs to go. Sorry though no movie stars know me.lol Powerland has been the new CANBY as well as I went last year so I would not want to disrupt that show as well. Datsuns at Prado Bigtankers Big Show JDM cars at the Prado. I don't know something like that, I like the middle one.lol
  8. Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Well the watermelon wagon engine bay version 2. I know I know it could of been cleaner, its the best I can do. I changed some things to be cleaner. MAP sensor in cab now Header was installed this time with steering box out as it won't go in with it in. It was scratched up pretty good. Routed both engine and valve cover vents to catch can Pulled all the coil brackets off and cleaned it up by mounting vertical and shorter wires. Of course went back to a little red under the hood All new wire harness Most all nuts and bolts that were not changed out now are Re did the brake lines again, not the best but way better. These items are to just to name a few.
  9. Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr There is half of the wire harness finished, My little micro squirt does the trick and the ecumasters PDM. Fuse and relays all in one.
  10. I think there is a special endorsement to drive it. And you could also run an automatic now.
  11. Well you could register it as Not for Hire.look for a old needle nose Pete or Kenworth. I hope you can shift 2 sticks though, but most just pull the Brownie box out and install a 13 speed road ranger. I have actually thought about it for a long time but in the end, too much work and costly for repairs that we can't do.
  12. Yes I agree the manifold and valve cover are gloss but I will change around the color around them with more black and silvers per say. I owned big Polished Peterbilt's, I'm tired of polishing.lol
  13. Thank you I did a lot better this time fixing stuff that I should of addressed before. Brake lines with more practice but it is cleaner. Wiring is all that is needed, I'm doing the ecumasters.com PDM and all new plugs and blah blah blah. I think this engine will do good.
  14. Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Watermelon wagon engine bay version 2 is almost done. Few small things left then only thing I need is a wire harness to be finished.
  15. Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Also Cerakoted the brake master cylinder and billet reservoirs. I don't want no chrome or polish under hood. I think.
  16. Untitled by raymond medeiros, on Flickr Well if any one cares I got the Pedal box all redone. Paint well that's another story.

    My 1971 521

So its a cool setup as I have one now with my Robello stroker as he installs them when built. That guy DP racing is down the street from me or about 25 mlies away. Unless racing I was advised not to run an oil cooler as I thought that would be a good idea as these fuckin L series engines run a little hot if you ask me.
  18. Awww man cool, glad to see you back at it. Are you still with your girl also.
  19. clutch masters exeddy OS Giken Stay away from center force.
  20. Wow I love it.Its in better shape then when I got my truck off the original owner. can't wait to see what you do with his truck.
