71DIMER

Got my front timing covers, oil pan, timing chain tensioners, water pump, thermostat, front main seal, valve cover & high temp silicone gaskets installed on my KA24DE. Will replace the rear main seal when it gets dropped in my 510.

We live next to all these burger places and for my money I'd take a Five Guys burger, In-N-Out yellow peppers, and McDobalds fries and I'm good to go! Oh yeah love the Five Guys hit dogs, they're damn good, plus free peanuts while you wait (score)! In-N-Out has too much thousand island dressing type sauce for my taste. Yeah it's a California original and definitely better than regular fast food joints but it's clearly the whole it's new so let's go wait in line, it'll pass trust me.

If you have a Nor Cal friend to go over to HillBillyHector's place in Santa Rosa he has a real nice one for $50 and a passable one for $10 that you'd have to straighten out one ding on it...but he won't ship...that's why I said if you have a friend to go over there. Good luck!

Just came back from HillBillyHectors place, it's a 4-hr drive roundtrip from me but it was definitely worth the drive. He's a good guy to deal with and from what I saw at his shop it's obvious it's not worth it for him to piece sell everything, let alone ship small things. He has a container full of goodies and I was lucky enough to browse through it all. I voluntairily showed him my empty pockets cause he trusted me there alone and with the small NOS boxed items, I wouldn't trust just any old stranger rummaging around my stash of goodies. It's a great opportunity for someone with the time/space to buy his whole lot of parts, which I'm sure he'd give you a deal on and you can make your money back and then some! Hey Wicked, I'd say some are universal since these little ones fit our door handle spline perfect. I like them because they're smaller/compact than ours.

I get along with my in-laws but that's probably due to having a 3000 mile buffer zone, best thing ever..I highly recommend that...or you could 'help her out' by buying her (unfiltered) cigarettes to help speed up that process! :P

Hey Mark, I just now see this thread, wth? Congrats on the house amigo! Huge garage...score! Now you'll have room for your toys and all the other 'childish' things you couln't store in your old place. I'm definatly miss having you in CA, especially in SD where it gave me yet another reason to visit...if I could I'd move to sunny SD in a heartbeat, I've been there many times and I love it there, but for now I'll stay up here and hopefully soon I'll be posting about our move to Santa Cruz where I'll finally have a garage to tool around in as well. All I have to do is get off my butt and sell my place so I don't have to rent it out, and then pick a home to go into serious debt and bam, we'll be happy like you and your family are! Hell now I may just have to come visit you out there...just as long as it's not scorched earth hot ok? Sorry to hear about your 'friend' bailing out on you like that when you were so close to getting to your new place. That blows and the drama that followed I'm sure wasn't helping the already high stress of moving your family and stuff out there. I am glad to read that you are close to real friends that you know you can rely on to back you up, as I'm sure they know, you'd do the same at a drop of a hat, that's the kind of cool guy you are.
