  1. I was going to get snippy with wire dykes, but i cant completely withdraw the cable like i could with an el cheapo napa choke cable...
  2. Fisch, Check ;) Jinx, i havent had much seat time with them yet. I went for these carbs because they are ZTherapy rebuilt ones that i knew for a fact wouldnt be worn out. If the carbs your looking at have an unknown history or are heavily worn on the throttle shafts, setup will be a nightmare. I had a weber DGV, it ran GREAT, but i wanted to see what these could do. Shop with caution.
  3. Exhaust wrap and Z Therapy heat shieled installed.
  4. I heard Pick N Pull is charging their $2 entry fee, then a percentage of your total as an EXIT FEE.
  5. Th intake i scored from 510keeper as well at a swap meet. Already opened up to 46mm ;)
  6. It still looks nice, the camera flash kinda fuzzled it...
  7. Once the SU's are sorted completely, then i get to install this badge of honor....
  8. Hahaha, if your talkin about my pics, i do the best i can with the equipment i have. But James was giving the camera contact-DRUNK....
  9. Jon, Jbird wanted me to drop off the aluminum sheet with you, to give to him, to cut out, but you left so fast!!! Hahaha
  10. Im really bummed that i missed that fun run. MASSIVE turnout. :/
  11. Quite the contrary, in mountainous nor cal, it gets plenty cold and wet. Was 16 degrees in the morning a couple weeks ago.
  12. Whats everyone running for dual carb choke cables these days? The original ones are long NLA, I need a dual pull choke cable. Its for a 510 with dual SUs. Thanks!

  18. BIG UPDATE TIEM Recently i decided to convert my Weber fed L19 to dual 46mm ZTherapy SU carbs i got from Boaty. My buddy WAGONJON did the manifold conversion. He does excellent work. Had to source a new intake manifold gasket. The only place in Sac with one was Autozone, 15 miles away or so. Aside from some heat issues due to lack of any heat sheilding, the car runs spectacuplarly. Response is great, mileage seems unaffected. But i still needed an air filter setup. I had a shortened 240Z airbox, and the lid wouldnt clear. So i decided to make my own! I scored a plate of 3/16" aluminum plate from a NEAT place in Sacramento called Blue Collar Supply. I traced the backplate to the aluminum to create a lid. JBIRD helped me there with his shop to cut it out. Problem is, it turned out to be T6 or something. Hard as hell! Took a LOT of effort to cut. Jbird hacking at it. The result of 3 hours work. I then discovered the air horns were too tall for the height of the filter, so i shortened them. Reflared them using a giant craftsman socket with angled edges on the bottom. Then was the install. It still needs compression limiters to avoid destroying the filter when tightening. I then took Jons advise to eliminate the excessive rubber fuel line i was using. Scored a rough SU feed line from 510keeper, straightened it up, cleaned it, and installed. Here it is all said and done. Just waiting on a few more parts, and itll be on the road again!
  19. James, soon as shes home ill be happy to oblige ;)
