Do not watch this steaming pile of shit.. I found the movie 200mph on netflix with its description reading: I watched it a bit.. No Z less you count the 350 and torn apart 370z in the background... Then it just got worse.. NAAAAWWWSS aparently will make an 2nd gen RX-7 so fast it will fly off the ground and apparently its not an RX-7 but a MX-5.. *facepalm* I just had to tell someone how awful this movie is.. fail doesnt even describe how awful it was..

though equipment like speedo sensors fail and more.. lol I had a 91 accord that would read 140 on the speedo when I did 70mph

If you gotta flair it I'd go with the stereotypical ZG flairs, hard to make them look bad on any old Datsun.

also the cardboard beer (dr pepper also) boxes make good transmission and various gaskets

Cant fit one of those in the roadster so I ground down a phillips bit and used a pair of vice grips.

Hotwheels needs to get their shit together and make a roadster.

I'd planned on getting a piece of carbon fiber and copying the look of the low top roadster dash, have RCI Baja lowback seats already and planning a 4 point rollbar.

I think that is a good idea, but I bedlined my interior so don't have to worry bout carpet.

I've decided to leave my roadster's interior gutted and want some pictures for ideas, so I figured I'd start an OIC thread on gutted datsun interiors. I'm still weighing out the parts but I think I've saved almost 90lbs from interior pieces, don't have the seat weight so can't be 100%

Unfortunately it was onboard, I've been reading on them so I don't think a way to get out of the ticket. I'm preparing to just pay the fine and get over it sucks cause I just had plans to get new tires. Though, I did get a laugh cause they for a bit kept thinking my car was a 63 Volkswagen due to my insurance having my baja and my miata on the same card. .

I'm gonna buy new speedo cable and hope the judge will let me off as I've never been wrote a ticket for any traffic violations before. Unfortunately only total mileage. I didn't feel like a night in the clink, thought about it though :lol:

Driving along in my miata around my favorite cruise spot driving the speedlimit of 45.. verified by both the speedometer and GPS.. I pass a park ranger I notice him turn around rather quickly and start to pull up behind me, I pull over no big deal thinking maybe I have something wrong with my car or something... He then tells me I was going 61mph in a 45.. I explain my speedo said 45.. so he writes me a ticket after checking my insurance.. Fortunately I was fucked over with a smile and he was so happy to show me his fancy radar that can't be jammed but didn't answer the last time it was tuned and checked over. This is fucked up, I plan on fighting it.

Long as you aren't going for a restore job you will be fine on budget. I bought my 69 1600 for 400 dollars, total spent to get it almost completely road ready was 1600 dollars ironicly.. Ready for paint now and have all the parts I need to drive it legally, but mine is going to stay gutted on the interior run racing seats, and be a general death trap besides upgraded brakes. Though the roadster has *no* aftermarket anymore, any major performance mods are homegrown. So DIYers are best.
