So after much thought, we have decided to go with two curved pipes coming up from the head instead of a huge box. We will use the tubing we have for the cross-tube. I am going to the junk yard to look for curved tubes to cut off of a manifold. Was gonna just cut them off there with a saws all if they look to hard to remove. Any ideas on cars to look out for? Seen a couple fiats in there with the weird slant fours. Maybe saabs and such?

Early smog requirements are more lenient than the newer stuff. Therefore if you get a newer swap and keep the smog stuff on the swapped engine, you should be golden! If ya paid too much for the car to make it worth another $300, then take the guy to court. You would have had to spent alot of money to make it not worth another $300. Strip the car and buy one that is in bad condition and swap the good stuff over! I know that I LOVE my 79. The 4-link rear suspension and light weight make it one Fun Azz car to drive! I feel ya man. Been laid off, on and off for(more off than on) about a year. Can barely pay my bills, and I've down-sized ALOT. Still got the two datsuns, and livin in a motorhome is cheep. Word of mouth alwayse helps me alot in getting side jobs. I alwayse ask people that I meet or see during the day if they have a broaken car I could fix.
