The engine for this truck is nearly done. I need to find either a extension housing to replace the broken one on the '78 620 5 speed I have, or to repair the dogleg 5 speed I have for this truck. Does anyone here have the parts I need for that?

I've been sorry to hear that the truck wasn't working out for Rick. I'm glad to see it went back to Al, instead of someone outside our community. Hopefully, the truck will be at Blue Lake this weekend.

I couldn't find my last Ratsun.net decal until this morning. I found 2 of my Datsun Religion decals also.

Ok,thank you! I have been working on this truck so long,that I have misplaced some of the stickers that I have been collecting for it,& I can't seem to find the title. I saw it recently, so I'm not worried, just a little annoyed with myself for not putting it where I could easily find it.

I went over to Shawn's & washed my truck. I also finally put on a few of the windows decals on,now that I actually have a back window in my truck since who knows how many years.

Yes,we have plenty of room! As for what time will we get to IKEA,I don't really know. I know,the trip into Oregon City is available Half an hour. I would guess approximately another 45 minutes from Oregon City to Milwaukie,but that may be too long of a guess. It's easy half an hour from Downtown Milwaukie to Johnson Creek Fred Meyer, from there we will be fighting traffic on 82nd,so I don't know. I would suggest pm'ing me your number, & I will keep you posted about what time we expect to reach the IKEA

Yes, it's the one you can see from 205 right by the airport way exit. 10280 n.e. Cascades Pkwy ,Portland ,Or. 97220 there is usually a group of people that meet there before the event, and cruise over together. I haven't heard anything about that group yet this year, so hopefully we'll be able to meet up with them.

I didn't intend to disrespect Rick,& I can understand how what he's dealing with from the cancer would effect other things in life. I was just stating my disappointment that things related to this truck had become so negative.

I'm just going to go ahead and remind everyone here that Denmark boy & I are putting together a caravan to this event. His group is leaving Eugene around 6am, heading down 99,& should be meeting me,& others in Canby at around 8am. We're taking the scenic route ,not the freeway ,so there should be plenty of photo ops. we hope to meet up with the group that usually meets at IKEA, then cruise together to the event. please check out the Datslocos Oregon [& others welcome] caravan to Blue Lake thread, thank you!

I gotta say that this whole thing depresses me! I know I only got to spend one day working on this truck,& many people donated more money ,and /or parts than I was able to. I still hate to see something that brought so many people together,& for a good cause, become so negative.

it sounds like Denmark boy will be leaving Eugene at around 6am. that should put him in Canby at around 8 - 8:30 am. it's approx. a 30-40 minute drive into Oregon City. from that point I don't know how long it will take to get to Milwaukie, then head up to Johnson Creek Fred Meyer, then down 82nd to IKEA. will someone who is meeting at IKEA tell me when you're planning on meeting there, please?
