There are a couple guys in Arizona, Shawn Drawdy,& his wife Becca, As well as Charlie69. I may send it out there. I think I can get the Oregon and Washington guys to autograph it at Blue Lake,or next years Canby show. For the California guys, I may try to get it done at the Shasta campout, or next years Datslocos swap meet in Manteca. That really only leaves a few people I don't know where they are. Two of them I haven't seen on Ratsun in quite awhile. Does anyone have contact with Rocket Dog,& Hooligan?

While I was at the Canby show this year I got started on something I have wanted to get done on my truck for quite awhile. Alot of people helped in this build,either by actually working on it, or by giving quality advice, or simply morale support in times when the project wasn't quite going as well, or as quickly as I would have liked it to. I have wanted to have those people sign the glove box lid of my truck( although I don't think that will be enough room, so I may extend that to other areas of the dash.). While at the show, I got Big Tanker, & Wayno to sign the glove box lid. I will be looking to have the rest of you who have been part of this project do the same,as I see you at shows. I'm trying to think of a way to get the autograph those of you I am not likely to see at an event to sign it also. I greatly appreciate the help you all have been, & this is a way for me to save that for posterity.

I'm going to try to make it to this one. For some reason, I feel like the Shasta Campout is that weekend,but I'm not sure if I can afford the trip to California anyway. I am going to check the schedule. If I'm in town, I will be there.

It was Fantastic to get to see this truck in person, after drooling over pictures of it all these years! This truck has been an inspiration for my own truck. (although, I have a LONG WAY to go before mine is as nice!) Glad it's in good hands! Any idea what happened to Steroid's Datsun powered Sundance jet boats? I always dreamed of having one like them. I tried pretty hard to work out a deal with another guy (Plumbob, or something like that was his name.)but couldn't quite work it out.

Well, I think the Datsun gods must have been watching over me today! I had one rear tire break cords,& the tread separated,on the fun run today. No flat or blow out though. Th er guy who was following me told me when we got parked at Barton Park. He loaned me his spare & I drove back to Canby. Later, while I was listening to Peter Brock at the Banquet dinner, I got a message from Royal Sierra, that the rest tire on the other side had also done the same thing. Still no flat, or Blow out. Truck is safe and sound at the show I need to dig up a couple spares to use until the tire shop opens

I went to the Canby show Friday night after work. Got there around 7pm. I had just planned on "dropping by" to get 2 dinner tickets for Saturday, before they were all gone. I thought, " Well, I'll just stay for a few minutes, & say Hi to a few people. Ummm, Yeah right. Next thing I knew, it was almost 10 pm, my Family had joined me at the show, & we had to hurry out, before we got locked in without a tent. Maybe we should have camped anyway, even though I only live about 10 blocks away from the Fairgrounds. I can hardly wait to get back to the show, & for the Fun Run today!

I saw Ted at Canby Friday night. Had a nice conversation with him,& the other guy (Sorry. I didn't catch his name.) that was at his swap meet spot.

It would be Awesome to see this collection in person! I watch Craig's site on Ebay,and Facebook, but haven't bought anything...yet. I would also Love to have that deluxe wagon trim....& a coupe!

Normally I park next to my 720, but lately that parking spot has been taken.

For those who are interested in caravanning to Silver Falls State Park from the Clackamas county, Portland metro, Vancouver, etc areas, we will be meeting at Canby Fred Meyer, near Denny's at 9am Saturday, May 5th. It's about an hour drive to Silver Falls State Park, & the goal is to be at the park by 10am.
