  1. Plate says 10/77 at least I think it's a 10 but I always list year by what plate says which is also why I post a pic of the plate. I'm more literal than accurate in year listing. Doesn't matter now cause I'm sure that car is long gone.
  2. No harm no foul :) I see yards listing them wrong all the time. They call the 210s B210s and the B210s 210s. Generally if they at least list the year right I know which one it is and then still check it out anyway in case they messed that up. Best way to tell is to check the manufacture plate. To make it even more confusing for people the 210 will say B310 :sneaky:
  3. That's a 210 not a B210. They are different. Too bad it's a round eye. I need to grab parts from a square headlight 210. It looks pretty straight. Too bad someone didn't want to save it. Thanks for posting the pics! Mikeystoy, haven't forgotten you want the ashtray and the ignition cover piece. If I see a B210 and it's got 'em I'll grab 'em.
  4. I don't have a B210 but I know Sierra would appreciate those pictures.
  5. Anybody in Oregon going to the Pick-n-Pull Portland North soon? There's a 1982 210 there and I'd like to have the instrument panel if it's still in there and none of the needles on the gauges are broken. Pick-n-Pull - Portland North 9635 N Columbia Boulevard

  6. We were trying to figure out the rear. Wondering where the wing came from. My bf thinks it came off a boat. I'm not so sure if it wasn't fabricated somehow. This thing was a definite Frankenstein.
  7. Seen today at the Home Depot in North Hollywood And I don't know what this is but we first spotted it on the freeway on the way to Home Depot and turns out the dude was going to the same place so I got these pics. Some old cat. In case you didn't notice the plate says LA SUITE.
  8. I did something similar to this. I had the car in park but it wasn't all the way in park. Couldn't get it to start. Called my dad. He got it to work...of course. I think I get a pass on this cause I learned to drive on a manual shift and it was my first automatic. Still felt like a tard.
  9. I'm reading KISS Behind the Mask right now. Interesting read so far. Peter Criss had drumming lessons from a legend, Gene Krupa. Paul Stanley has no hearing in his right ear. Paul completely disliked Gene when they first met which I'm sure was completely warranted. I'm only 1/4 through it right now. It is interesting to read how they all met and what they went through in the beginning. How methodical they were with getting started and the two guys at Casablanca who believed in them so much they put all their own money in to finance them. Big leap of faith right there.
  10. I've done it! Drew up some 1/4 panel emblems on my computer and had them printed on a 3D printer. Like everyone else said, as long as you treat your Datsun right it will last forever. Mine only left me on the side of the road once in the 24 years I've had him. Stupid alternator. Had to push the car to the side of the road. Thank goodness they're so small. And welcome to ratsun Eddie! Now post pics!
  11. POST PICTURES!! We're picture whores here....and welcome!
  12. I think all us Datsun people are crazy.....but in a good way :)
  13. Was this  for me or for Stanley cause he is looking pretty hot these days
  14. Finally got a picture of the '79 210 wagon I keep seeing on Fountain Ave in Hollywood.
  15. I'm sure your wife has taste and wouldn't want anything to do with Tiger's wood. Only a star fucker would want that dude. Once again naner you took it to another place it didn't need to go. I will now not be able to think about my new shift knob without thinking about that fool. You've ruined it for me forever. Thanks.
  16. Yeah I think you'd have to swap the entire knob. It would be really easy if you could swap buttons but I dare say the inner part of the knob the button goes into is more narrow than the 210 one. We're hoping modifying the button works. If not he's going to start from scratch. Darn!
  17. The B210 still had all the seats in it amongst a bunch of other crap that was randomly thrown in there. I didn't notice a 620 but I did keep walking by a smaller pickup which might've been it. I should've gotten a closer look. If it was the 620 the bed was on it but if memory serves me correct the tailgate was gone. Sorry I can't be positive it was a 620.
  18. The one on the left is from a 210. You can see the overall shape difference and the cut out area in the center is different. In a previous photo I circled in red the problem spot. It's keeping the button on the shift arm from popping back up like it's supposed to.
  19. Oh yeah it bolts in and fits just fine. It's the button that is different and is causing the problem. I'll get a pic for you to see the difference.
  20. I'm apparently from Columbus, Greensboro and Richmond which is funny cause I was born, bred and raised in Southern California. I did live in NY for a while. Might be because both parents are originally from the East Coast.
  21. Ok, got a little info on the shift knob my bf used to make this. Some cat is selling the same exact knob on ebay (for $80 good luck with that) and I asked him exactly which car he pulled it from. He said they were common to the 280ZX turbo, 80s Maximas and some other models. He's got it listed working on a 720, 510, 620 and B210. I know for a fact the 720 and 210 share an auto shift knob so it won't work well on the 720. This one is probably more common to the Z and 510. The buttons have a different shape. This one has a more tapered look to it whereas the 210 is more rectangle. We pulled another knob today from a car in the boneyard so my bf could pick that one apart and examine it. He says if he can't get it to work he'll make one completely from wood. I hope to get my 210 back soon. As soon as I do we'll start messing with the button to see if we can get it to work. More news later.....
