Was at a car show yesterday at Santa Anita Park. I'm pretty sure I've seen this Z at the Bob's Big Boy in Burbank.

I'm generally at the yards in Monrovia, Ontario, Wilmington and Stanton. That's where I've found most of the Datsuns. Once in a great while San Bernardino and Sun Valley will have Datsuns. There's also an imports only yard in Fontana. Unfortunately they don't list inventory online so it's a crap shoot if you go. I hit it once in a while when I visit my mom in the IE. Keep your eyes peeled on this web site. They list their inventory. I'd say they're generally 97% correct in what they list. http://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/locations/West/

Never believe anything the yard tells you over the phone. They're just as lazy here. Either they can't answer or they just say no to get rid of you. Meanwhile they probably have what you're looking for. What's even better is when they have a car and it never gets listed to the site. You're better off going to see for yourself. Customer service died many years ago.

Well I was coming up behind it so I only really paid attention to the back and the driver's side as I passed. I don't remember any lettering on the windshield when I did look in my rearview.

Saw a pretty nice white Sunny with fender mirrors on the way back to LA from the IE on the 10W. I was driving my 210 this time. Had gone out there to pick him up and bring him back. I got along side the Sunny and we gave each other the thumbs up.

Saw a nice green Datsun pickup on the 101S around Hollywood this morning. Not too familiar with the models but I think it was a 521.

^^That 210 in the photo is a '79-'80. The yard listed it wrong. '82 has square headlights and no front side markers. Freaking yards :no: At least they got the model right.

Found another 210 (square headlight) with a tach and a clock. Keeping the clock but will be putting the tach up for sale soon. Keep your eyes peeled on the classifieds.

Hey Micro and KlassicMotion I just read your comments on my last post about the clock. Thanks for the info. Micro not sure if there's a place to plug in the clock since I never had one so may have to rewire. Klassic thanks for the tip. If the clock doesn't work may have my uncle help me with it but I'll let him know what you said.

Sun Valley, CA Pick A Part on Pendelton St. '75 B210 '80 210 Hatchback (I took the instrument panel. It had a tach and clock. I'm keeping the clock but will be putting the tach up for sale soon.) '76 710 Wagon (It had been picked pretty clean of anything internal. Some decent body parts tho.)

A couple of weekends ago came across a hatchback with a tach and a clock. Sold off the tach already. Today came across another 210 with a tach and clock. Suddenly it's a Datsun goldmine. I'm keeping the clocks but as soon as I get my act together I'll be selling off the tach. Keep your eyes peeled on the classifieds. Here's a pic of my new clock. Now to get it tested and hopefully working.

In over a year of jy searches I found my very first clock to a 210. Can't wait to test it out and see if it works. If it does I just need a wiring genius so I can get it plugged in.

Monrovia Pick A Part. Didn't stay too long cause I found some weekend work but there were a couple of 210s, A10 and a 510. My aunt and cousin were rear ended by some jackass on her phone a couple months back. I would've put some knuckles to the jaw for that. I have a cel phone but hardly use it. Got it in case the car breaks down or some kind of emergency. That's it. My garage is alley access and I was warming up Stanley (my 210 people don't be nasty) and while sitting there I watch a car go by ever so slowly. First thought, this fool is texting. Sure enough their head was down looking at their lap the whole time. Wish I'd had an air horn right then. If you really need to be that connected pull your dumb ass over and handle it.

Went out to the Pick Your Part in Wilmington on Blinn Ave. cause their site boasted an '81 210 but it wasn't there. Checked out their Help Yourself lot across the street just in case and nothing there either. Both yards had a Z and the Wilmington one also had a '74 pickup but there was nothing under the hood or in the cab. No rims no nothing and body was beat up. Today was a bust.

Pick Your Part in San Bernardino. Some Zs as usual, a 710 and a 310. And might I add it was 100 degrees out there. Like Satan came out of hell and decided to call SB his new home. Damn! HOT! '81 Z (There were couple others but I didn't get photos.) '76 710 '80 310 And for shiggles I don't think I've ever seen a car wrap that wasn't advertising a business I guess this guy wanted a bed cap really bad. Looked like it was made out of papier mache and duct tape.
