You can rebuild the motor but don't go higher than 10 to 1 CR.And that is the ragged edge for a driver.

Nothing has changed.GM never learns.I went to my local cruise night on Saturday.A new Camaro was there.THere were two holes(horizontal)just in front of the front wheels on the lower part of fender or lower bumper wrap-around.THey looked out of place,so i asked the owner what they were for.This frown came over his face as he told me that the chin spoiler blew off on the freeway because the factory drilled two holes at each corner and then used TAPE in-between the screws to hold the CHIN SPOILER on.ARE YOU SH!TTIN' me?Tape to hold a spoiler on? Brand new much anticipated new Camaro.Indy pace car,blah,blah,blah And the spoiler is held on by tape. GM NEVER LEARNS...NEVER.:fu::fu:

Front & rear window seals are available at just about any glass shop.It's the 1/4 glass seals that are a biotch. I'll take two sets.

You MIGHT have to shorten it.MIGHT.SOmeone who has done this swap in th epast 10 years should remember.THe last time i did it it was 97ish.But come to think of it,i put a Z 5-speed in a 85 720 and everything was a bolt in.No futzin' around. The Z five speed will bolt to the Z-20,22,24 motor but will be "clocked" wrong.The shifter will have about a 10 degree tilt.(the Z motors sit straight up in the bay.The "L" motors lean to the passenger side.)

A 280Z 5-speed will bolt up.There MIGHT be some drive shaft tweaking to do,but nothing major.Make sure that you use the throw-out bearing collar that matches the clutch itself and NOT the vehicle.
