What year tanks interchange between 74 & 78?

Exhausts are a funny thing.My 810 wagon has 149,000 on it and i just replaced the factory system.Both mufflers and all the shielding.If the vehicle is driven enough,the exhaust can last a while.Your truck is starting to sound like 153 +.

Gotta agree with Ryan.Among the issues will be where to fit the inter-cooler.Then you are going to have use the "blow-thru" method which is not the first choice. A KA makes more sense.

Wear on the clutch,brake & gas pedal are clues.Depending on where it is,cracks in the dash are another.At 53K,all the interior pieces should still be original. Underhood there should still be a LOT of original hoses p[lus other factory pieces.

My 78 with the 76 bar doesn't come close.THe angle of the end links to the bar is approaching 45 degrees. If you have a FSM you can see the difference in the shape of the bar.I found a place that said they could re-shape the bar for me.But the factory one will end up being only 40 bucks or so more.So i figured WTF.Get the factory one.Besides-it's immoral to let 620 parts remain at the dealer.

Soak it in PB blaster for a day or two,then use a torch to heat the head up.The aluminum will expand quicker and it should spin out.
