  2. I do haha. I actually just used the new "story mode" or whatever to teach everyone how to make potato soup :thumbup: No flexplate yet, but trans cooler has arrived.
  3. No, Im not saying they are exactly the same. And its fine if other companies make similar styles... you said A3A looking SSRs. So I put some A3A looking SSRs up. Its great if you know what they are, but there are tons of people who have no clue what M1s are. The general consensus is that XR4s are the only Longchamps.
  4. This is the first time FEST is happening, but its the Winter version of The Old School Reunion. There are a few threads here with pics from previous meets.

  7. There are a few F20 510s out there. I dont think most of us will hate on a swap in general... we just dont want to see a rare year 510 (or any 510 really) cut up by an inexperienced builder for a swap they will never finish. If you think you have the skills to do it right, then proceed. No one here will really give you any shit. Just dont hack up the car.
  8. Its a future possibility for sure. Baby steps though... first Ill get this L20 going, daily it through the Winter, and come Spring Ill see if I need to look into upgrading again. Then probably gather the parts needed and swap again next Winter. LZ or DE could be a possibility at some point if I can keep it looking nice and clean. Still waiting on my trans cooler to show up. I dont know what is taking Summit so long in getting it here.
  9. There seems to be a boost in projects lately so its hard to keep track. I think everyone is trying to make a final push for Winter. Hopefully by a few days Im back to cruising the 510 with a bit more power and reliability. Then maybe next weekend Ill push to get my CVs on.
  10. Newer 3spd. The issue we ran into was that we didnt have the correct 6-bolt flexplate. The only thing we can think of was that it got left out and it was taken for scrap by the local tweakers. Ive got one on the way now and once I get it, the rest should be easy.
  11. Hopefully you know what youre doing, because I would hate to see a 68 get cut up unnecessarily.
  12. Feels weird not having the car sitting outside... I emailed on a 521 Im looking at picking up. Maybe thatll give me something nice to drive around while I work on the Dime.
  13. Yeah flywheels go with manuals and flexplate/pressure plates go to automatics. I removed my older trans because I was upgrading to the Jatco and L20. Both transmissions work fine. What does yours look like that you say you need it to be reconditioned? Do you have pictures of your flexplate?
  14. I have both the older B&W flexplate and the newer JATCO flexplate in 5-bolt.
  15. This is Murica and if they do anything more than just left turns... I aint interested.
