If anyone needs any of the decals reproduced, I can design them up, and cut them. I know there are a lot of cool, funky graphics a lot of the Datsun trucks came with.

Ok, so how about everyone meets at Buzz Inn at noon? Kitsap guys can meet at the Albertsons on 303/Warren Ave. at 915. Roll down at 920-925 to ferry to catch 10am ferry. Seattle at 11ish. 40 minute drive to Monroe where we meet up with everyone for lunch. That gives us a few hours to all each lunch, relax a minute, and wait for those that dont do lunch to show up. FEST roll in is at what 2pm?

That place could work... according to their website its just a couple blocks east of the show. Being local, you should roll by and check if its lowered car friend. Some of those rolling in wont like huge driveways and speed bumps. Ill text Dillon tomorrow and see what his guys think.

Yes. I talked to Dillon and hes going look around for a place to have lunch near the venue. Then we can all assemble and the Datsuns can drive in together. Once he has all the details Ill share them here if he doesnt.

Yeah, looks like a quality car. Its something Id have no issues driving around. I think your price is more accurate. Id probably pay something in the $2-2.5K range unless those mesh wheels are something legit. I just cant see paying close to that. Plus, the L24 ( madJDMtyteYO Z engine :rolleyes:) came standard in those. Big whoop.

I guess I missed that it was an L20 and not an L16... still no real gains. As Merlin mentioned, KA would probably be better if the R isnt running.

So its not a Datsun... its probably not a classic rusty POS... and there are no pictures in this thread... What the hell is going on in here?

Will it physically fit?- yes. Will it just bolt in?- no Youd need to run an L-series trans along with it and custom mounts etc. Why would you replace an 1.6L R with a 1.6L L? Its harder to swap for no gains...

Not being a Toyota guy, I dont have any numbers, but Ive only ever seen a few out there as I believe they were only available for a couple years here. The 4th Gen is definitely one of my favorite Toyotas. I like the turn signal locations...

Yeah, the only Datsun 1000 badges I know of are on the 50s Roadster... I think it used an engine just under 1ltr. Looks like this: I would bet that its a 69 Roadster with early 50s badging. Edit: Here is some Wikipedia info http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datsun_Sports#S211

Its a tall window so its a later year (I think the change was in 69)... the badges based on engine size, so it would be weird if it was a one liter engine.

Man, that came out nice. I should pick up some of that for my gauge cluster plastic. Its a little cloudier than I would like.
