  1. Yeah, I have GLs. Id like a set of SSS but I cant find any LOL. Id be willing to trade these for them, but so far Im really happy with these... Im sure I will like them even more once I get the full set mounted. Theres just so much that has to happen in order to mount these completely. Bucket holes need to be enlarged about 2 1/2"s towards the center DATSUN center garnish needs to be removed License plate lights need to be removed License plate light holes need to be welded shut '68 bumper lights has be purchased and installed '68 bumper needs bought/other years need to be taped for light So much! Im just going to rock this for a bit and finish it up when I paint it.
  2. Well, my buddy who owns and operates BOSS Innovations down in Tacoma, Wa is having a grand re-opening this Saturday. He recently moved shop locations and is having a big meet of all makes and models this weekend so I figured I would go down and help out with the last minute things to get ready. Anyway, while I was down there he hooked me up with a little metal-work. I ran into a slight problem as there is a small dent in the rear. My new GL lights were mounted with the exception of the finisher plate. Was a pretty easy install with the only exception being the unflat area where the finisher is suppose to be. When I get ready for paint we will pull the dent and install the third piece of the lights. I really wish the rear of the car was straighter so that I could continue the install, but oh well. Just a few more pieces I have to acquire before I can paint the car...
  3. I hate trucks, but I would rock this any day:
  4. Only if you put effort into going to see him. And judging by this thread, I wouldnt hold my breath...
  5. Glad you caught it. Just trying to help out...
  6. Well, I went to do work on the car today and I got snowed out. I guess I Sally-wristed the radiator hose from the last re-install and I had some coolant loosed into the engine bay. I stopped for gas and saw that something under the hood was smoking. I popped the hood and noticed that it was a little fresh coolant on the block. I watched my temps on the way home and prepared to wait a few until the engine cooled so I can handle all the radiator. Anyway, got sick... then snow. At least since Im sick Im not driving anywhere so the car is fine. I have another painting project I wanted to knock-out, but now its too cold and wet so I have to wait it out. Im hoping that I get over this fever soon so I can get back to working. Fixing the car was the only thing keeping me sane while not working. It was filling my time.
  7. Just a word of advice Jalen, if you look at the front passenger side tire you can see that it doesnt line up where you lowered the car. You might want to fix that.
  8. Oh, for some reason I thought it was tonight at midnight... Im sick and taking drugs. Apparently I cant read on them.
  9. I thought I was going to have more time, but this is about 25 minutes worth of work:

  12. Calm down dude. Its Internet rep... its not a real thing. Some people have a butt load and some are in the negative. Youre not going to get banned because your rep went down. You didnt post a correct for sale ad so take the bashing. If you want to sell something, then put some effort into it. Follow this

  17. Disclaimer: I have never used PSE as I have always just had PS... Ive never seen a need for Elements. Manipulate my steps as needed. There is no "cutting tool." You can use either the polygonal lago tool or the pen tool. I use the pen tool. basically you click around the entire area that you want to manipulate. So I would cut around the entire car, but going into the wheel wells and not following the wheels/tires. Once you go completely around your area, right-click inside your points and click on make selection (or something like that). It should turn from points and a solid straight line to the dancing ants lines. Switch to the move tool and right click inside your selection. Click make new layer via copy. Now still using the move tool, move your selection down how ever many pixels you want for drop. You should see some of the original height of the car sticking out behind and over your new lowered car. Clone/mask/whatever you choose to do to blend the new lowered car into the background and get rid of the old height. Good luck.
  18. Yeah there are a few in the states as collector cars that are allowed to be driven for a couple miles a year. If I had one I would drive it everywhere.
  19. Ha yeah, I laughed when I first saw it a few years ago. Ive wanted one since then, but its just a few years outside of the easy import year so I still have to wait.
  20. I dont know him, but if Doug says hes legit then I would take his word on it.
