Truth. I'll price compare and see where that leads me. I can almost hit The Depot with a rock from my house so we shall see. I'm going to try and polish this weekend, but if it takes me too long I can order them online and shipping time should be about when I'm done.
Fingers crossed for nice weather. Might even give the car a bath.
I carry credit cards and ID by itself in my pocket. I dont ever carry cash so just the two cards are thin enough that it doesnt bother me when I put it in my pockets.
Ive thought about McMaster. Ill check them out. I really just didnt want to wait on shipping honestly.
You can get extended studs through FutoFab as well... as long as the studs are the same diameter as 510 ones. I have a set I havent installed yet... Im thinking of doing it if/when I do rear disks.
Im thinking I want something done, but not quite sure what... Ill have to do some thinking. Ive seen you post a bunch of your work up, but do you have a site for general pricing and such?
My pants are usually too tight for a wallet...
It looks too weird without bolts IMO so Im just going to pick up some zinc plated allen heads probably. Rock the HD hardware. I hope its nice this weekend, as Ive been thinking about polishing my lips with the ol' steel wool method. For people that use wool: do you use water at all? Im just curious if it makes it easier or anything. I know people wet sand and people use wool, but curious if wet wool does anything. Ive always just used 1000 extra fine wool and went to town.
IFO was OK last year... nothing too crazy. Very small amount of cars being showed and a decent turnout for cars racing. Quite a few showed up, but not too many that were worth watching. I had a few friends racing and my shop was suppose to be there, but were having some tuning difficulties last minute so we decided to sit that one out rather than blow something.
That picture is the same one I sent you...
Yeah, I already thought about going the cheaper route since I wasnt picking up gold hardware. I figured its all for looks now, so its doesnt have to be legit rim bolts.
And no... I dont have a hot topic wallet; I dont even use a wallet.
Ive seen various degree lugs before but would say that any would work if the rims took acorn style lugs. The big difference between lug style would be shank, acorn (not sure what the official term is), and flat... Just look at your lugnut seating area and you should be able to tell which you require.
No it makes sense. I don't fault you for calling us out... If I was in your position I would have done the same thing. I didn't follow that rule so if its deemed that it's not a valid entry then do be it.
Good luck to whomever wins!
