    sorry

Can I make threads about working on my gay car?
  2. Yes, the denotation means lowered car, but were talking about connotation...
  3. Good to know!- thanks for the info. Without the "schoolyard boyfriend" discount, is his prices reasonable?
  4. I don't know, those 3 look way over saturated to me... Maybe it's just my monitor. Do you calibrate your monitor at all when you edit? All my settings are in that first picture. Only thing you can't see is one digital graduated ND applied on the sky to darker a few stops and another applied to the water to blow out the water from brown to white. Everything was recovered in Lightroom and is a great example of me shooting hampster... Saves me every time. The only thing not done in LR was clone out the crane off the horizon in the final image.
  5. Do some CSI shit on that tag... I need to know the color! Take a look at my build thread and see if the color matches to you too.

    sorry

Haha it does look like a horse blanket... We had similar ones for our horses. Luckily my backseat smells nothing like a horse blanket... So gross.
  7. Youre pictures are a little hazy so its a bit hard to tell... what color is the truck? It could either be a light blue that looks green in pictures because of the quality or it happens to be green... I would guess green because you have that John Deere green powder. Is that the OEM color... can you see the color code tag under the hood? It looks almost identical to my cars color. Ive thought mine was some random aftermarket color since its been resprayed once, but if its a OEM respray that makes me a happy camper. PS. Welcome to Ratsun, and thank you for saving a Datsun.
  8. Loving the truck over all. Do not like the blue painted interior plastic parts though... and since your tires have such small sidewalls, it would be nice if the truck was lower to get rid of some of that gap. Overall, really clean and digging it. Cant wait for more pictures and progress. Welcome to the site.
  9. Man, looking at these really makes me want to polish the lips on my MKIIs/MKIIIs... I have the same amount of dish, but theirs are so much cleaner.
  10. 1972 Datsun 240z - 714 original miles - $25000 (Ballard) Price just reduced. Once in a lifetime opportunity to own such a low mile Z car. 1972 Datsun 240z with 714 original miles. White with a red interior, automatic. This car came from a West Seattle car dealer's estate and was stored inside the whole time. The brakes were just gone through and the car runs and drives. This car still has a new car smell. No rust and straight. The worst thing about this car is that the paint was touched up 30 plus years ago and not done very well. Perfect car for a collector. I can not find a comparable anywhere with this few miles. Call Jon @ 206-390-0800 http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/3134107004.html
  11. I only like it on your truck because you never see it... otherwise it looks like something Zippy threw up. I like the exhaust, looks clean. Where do you go around here for that?- thats one thing I need to take care of as well. Last time I was under the car it looks like my ehaust might be close to rusting through.

    sorry

Ill post a very thourough How-To tomorrow morning when I get off work...
  13. I was only giving him grief over the door trim because that's 75% of his comments on my car... I personally say keep it honestly. As stated, it's different.
  14. What's your process for removing the paint? Here Stateside a common paint remover is called aircraft stripper. It usually comes in a metal container and can be purchased at a local automotive store. You just paint it on, let it sit, and then wash it off with some water. It does wonders for removing paint. I wouldn't care how many layers of paint you have on there... It will eat through it all.
  15. Now if only you could combine the low of the old picture with the wheels and fender pull of the current setup...

    sorry

Its not like its not obvious. Im over this thread.
  17. I thought it was bakkie? Either way, always a fan of these. Hope to see you post up more pictures and progress. Welcome to the site.

    sorry

Ive never once been mean to Jalen and I live in an apartment and do not have the money, space, nor skills that Jon has. And just to point something out, I did not have someone else lower my car. I did the install myself with the help of a friend while at work. I put everything together for the coils, struts, brakes... everything. I installed one side and he did the other. The only thing I didnt do myself on the car was the rear roll of the fender. My buddy had experience and I didnt. Plus, I have no issues with peoples comments on my build... People can say whatever they want. If you want to attack someone for their comments, then I would pick JRock if anything. Ive never been mean spirited, never disrespectful, and help out when I can. Is there some joking in the thread?- sure. If he didnt like it, he wouldnt come into my thread and literally ask for it. Jalen is a good kid and I consider him a friend (as much of one can be without meeting in person). So I dont know why you would single me out Banana. Edit: Oh I didnt do the cutting for my tail lights. I didnt quite trust myself cutting up the body just yet.

    sorry

When I bought the car, there was no vinyl cover for the seat so I had to make due...
  20. Tristin

    sorry

No thats completely directed my way and Im not sure why.
  21. When I get to it, Ill be running a Painless setup. Would give me brand new wires, enough to tuck, and I can run blade fuses instead of the glass ones.
  22. I wonder why it says your name is Guest...
  23. I thought these were "Mexican" tail lights... except Mexico didnt get the center garnish.
