  1. Nice job! I wonder what my paint would look like if cleaned up properly... are you taking on work? :D
  2. Maybe he just wants to see his lady friend naked too... who knows. JRock is just a horndog either way.
  3. Two things for today: 1. I seem to be getting a massive amount of brake dust on my front rims. Everything is brand new, but Im thinking that they may be cheaper pads. Id like to not have to constantly clean my SSRs. Whats everyone running that close to dustless? 2. SolidWorks is a lot easier than I remember. Maybe there have just been a lot of changes since I last used it making it better. Went through a bunch of stuff on break yesterday/this morning and seem to got it down (I still have a lot to learn though). Ive got a couple items in the works. Im thinking I can use some scrap from around the shop to make them two, so it might be a little cheaper on my end. This isnt a really juicy update, so I apologize... here is some Katy Perry:
  4. First real drive with the new seals and I am so happy I finally did it. There is no longer a draft coming from my drivers door while cruising down the freeway. Now I just have to do the rears and re-attempt the passenger-side. Im thinking about just taking it to a place. Then the can properly remove the old adhesive as well as the PITA that are the seals. Plus Im sure they have bounds more experience than myself. Either way, Im very happy with just the one seal. I signed up for the Mitsubishi and Nissan show so hopefully they let me enter. If they do, I have a bunch of small things I want to do to get ready. Luckily its in September so I should have a small cash flow to be able to complete what I want. Ive also been designing a couple things in SolidWorks to see if I can cut them at work. Its my first time using it since maybe 8th grade so Im pretty rusy... Hopefully all goes well and I have some new handmade parts to install.
  5. Blasphemy... youre treading on thin ice.
  6. Oh yeah, the wagon; meh. I was only speaking of the coupe... Which is the only Colt I like (not his coupe, just coupes in general). He keeps putting off the build and its just sits in the garage. I give hi shit all the time for not working on it when he says he is. Talks about his sweet build, but it barely moves forward. He wants to drive it down to JCCS 2012, but we shall see if that happens.
  7. I doubt Tim was at the show with his coupe... It's been sitting at my work in pieces forever. Hes almost done with it so it's easy to think it could be done by the show.
  8. I hope all goes well for you picking it up and welcome to the site. Make sure that when you get it, you post lots of oics for us to oogle over.
  9. I have one I no longer use. I got mine from Qwik510 and will sell for his price. Not looking to make money... I just no longer need it.
  10. Theres a set of sill plates and bumper guards on eBay right now from the same member.

    Mt. Rainier 2012

As long as I have gas money I should be able to come to this. I thought I had other plans but they got moved to the day after so now Im free. I might bring the girl to this...
  12. I would venture to guess that it has many more miles than 69K... Just by looking at the overall condition, I would say at least 169K. Its probably turned over once. If just reading the odometer was true, then I have 16K original miles.
  13. I feel like its not quite the right color... they look better than the current polished wheels, but I think I just dont like the color. Id probably keep those on there though. The rims and the sidewall height look much better than the rims you had on it. What does the green one look like with the polished rims?
  14. Maybe Ill try to get a friend with a Colt wagon to show up... Hmm if he gets off his ass and gets some work done, he might be able to show up in a 2.3L turbo stroker 76 Colt coupe.
  15. *sigh* Poor Zelda and Paco. I dont know how I missed that... I could have sworn I checked that site.
  16. Lol don't remind me... I have another one though; I have a hot spare.
  17. Simple logic should have answered your question (and I'm imagining you searched first). You're looking at a press release that's 3mo old and coming into a forum devoted to Datsuns, asking if the resurrection of our namesake has been posted yet. Let me think about that one...
  18. Of course not... On a related note, has anyone seen this car before?- I think its part of the new Datsun lineup... <_< <_<
  19. According to Google Maps, it's a 2.5hr drive from Tacoma and the show starts at 10. I'm all for being a bit early personally... Maybe meet at Krispie Kreme at 7am and depart at 715. That's should give us plenty of time with a little slack for traffic and such.
  20. Man, I couldn't find it on their site... But then again I'm having Internet connection problems. I saw there was a BBQ already, but I get hungry and if I have to be there for 5 hours I want to eat a lot.
  21. Two questions since I can't find it anywhere... 1. Can you bring canine companions? 2. Can you bring your own BBQ to use?
  22. Well I gave up installing the passenger-side weather seal. I couldn't get it to snap into the track at the top of the door and for some reason the adhesive was not as effective as it was on the drivers-side. Luckily I never have passengers (or maybe that's unluckily?) so it shouldn't be a big problem.
  23. What?! I thought they were allowed... that's lame, she was lookig forward to playing at the park and eating BBQ.
