Description

Hey folks - I have a mix of transmission parts from doing a FS5W71 franken-build last winter. Before I get my butt into gear and take stuff to a metal recycler, I figured I'd see if anyone here needed anything. Parts will be free - you pay shipping. Please see the photos below, and I'll try my best to identify stuff if you have any questions or are looking for something specific. There are a few new synchros in the mix, which I had ordered accidentelly - I believe they are for a z-car transmission rather than a truck.

The tail stock is from a 71C 5speed. There were 71C 4 speeds but this isn't. The front case I can't tell unless you roll it this way so I can see the top. Could be from a Z car as the drain is commonly on the right side, but not always.

The front case is from a 71B out of my 1984 4wd pickup!

Do you have a part number for the synchros possibly? Last winter was a bit ago I know. I have a 5 speed in the 620 that needs a rebuild. Still working on identifying the 71B. Thanks!

I think they're two different 1st/2nd synchros which were incorrect for me. Hi, I'm looking for a good first gear and first gear bushing.  The bushing being the sleeve inside the needle bearing that first gear rides on.  My transmission is from AA 1982 280zx non-turbo.  Thanks!

Hey, sorry I didn't catch your first message! I believe the first gear in mine was a 32 tooth. Good luck with your search!
